Lack of news about Dubai/Saudi/Qatar bids is disturbing.
Depends on what you find disturbing...

If you really want an oil state, I'd imagine they would remain tight lipped on any interest unless they were extremely confident of completing a takeover. Sportswashing going to sportswash.

Why am I sucking off and praising a rival for saying they’ll get a billionaire owner? fecking wrong-en.
By giving them the best possible outcome whilst simultaneously giving us the worst possible outcome

Not really appealing.
feck no! Id rather watch old Trafford burn to the ground than these feckers getting their claws in and the cub still being run by the cnuts.

Good god, I was feeling all positive about a future without the Glazers and now this has just darked me out.

Wish I hadn’t come on here now.:(

It may be absolutely fine, but on current evidence I'm not sure they are the best placed owner. His ownership of Nice has been a shambles if you ask anyone in France.

I do not want us to be a sportswashing job for a middle eastern oil state, but I also don't want another 10 years of what we just had either.
From the outside, I don’t have a big problem with how he has run that team. By all accounts, it seems like he has given the club better conditions to succeed. And the intent has of course never been to turn Nice into PSG 2.0.

It’s not sucking off a rival is it being concerned who takes over at United given our current owners and stories coming out about these American firms buying a minority stake fecking hell

It would be the greatest cross over in history. Players coming out to their own themes.
Maybe we could rework the PL into one huge Royal Rumble match :D (or at least make the City and Liverpool matches "hell in a cell")

War games, each team starts with 1 player in the field, every 5 minutes one team or the other gets to add another player. It could work!

They’re literally at the same level as Sir Jim as reported yesterday. Nothing has happened yet and here we all are acting as if the world has ended.

It blatantly is, considering you said that you think that Liverpool would get the better new owners, whilst having no proof of it actually even happening, (a full sale) when in reality it’s the opposite! I even provided proof that the opposite is happening at Liverpool and that was kindly ignored.

Nobody is acting like the world has ended that’s your problem you’ve taken the whole comment way to seriously.

I can link stories from the past 48 hours linking Liverpool with a Middle East bid nobody knows what will happen but knowing our ‘luck’ we’ll end up with a pile of shite running the club, that’s it that’s my only thought it’s not sucking off a rival that’s a moronic take.

I'm better than Messi (even though I'm not)
People have been so warped by the Glazers they haven’t thought of the possibility that we might get new owners that are worse. As far as Ratcliffe is concerned I’m not buying this ‘he’s a fan’ bollocks. Nobody invests billions into anything for sentimental reasons.

I want owners who’ll bring the club up to scratch with facilities and stadium and who’s biggest interesting is setting foundations for United to be the best football team in the world for years to come. I just don’t see anyone other than ME investment doing that.

Exactly. I am especially worried about Ratcliffe. Everything around him is to be worried about but "he is United fan so he will be great owner".
1) He needs consortium. Those people will want profit and only profit. They will maybe be worse than Glazers.
2) Ratcliffe's history in club ownership is nothing to be excited for
3) Rumour is that he wants to bring back in club class 92. That would be disaster. Imagine Rio as DoF? Everything is "doom and gloom" Scholes? Gary "United way" Neville?

feck no. ME guys showed that they can run club properly. If we put aside morale issues, in reality they ARE by far best option. With them you will get investment in team, stadium, youth, traing ground and the most important thing; they will hire best people around to run a club.

Like they did with Malaga? Like they have with PSG? Like they did for the first 5 or 6 years with City?

Classic confirmation bias.

So, we know the fans will have a tremendous voice on who will become our next owners.

Ratcliffe knows this and was quick out the blocks. Let's see who follows and what kind of reception they get.
