Yeah, I heard about that recently. Was surprising because I’ve definitely heard other footballers saying they’re not allowed to ski. Mbappe said he had to quit at 15 and misses it more than anything.
I don’t think anyone is telling Neuer what to do these days, 36 years old and won everything there is to win. Mbappe or any young player likely skips skiing through free will also.

I was a big Pogba fan, but he really doesn't help himself.

I get it's his life and he feels like why should he stop himself having fun (I do get that) but at the same time with his current situation, it's very difficult to ignore the feeling he doesn't care.

You'd think his club will expect him to be fit for training fairly soon.

That was my understanding too. I think it might've been Michael Owen who I heard talking about all the things he wasn't allowed to do during his playing days, one being horse riding.

But to contradict that, Chris Smalling got hurt whilst surfing during pre-season a few years ago. Though I have no idea if he was allowed to surf, or if he was breaking any kind of contractual agreement. It makes sense for a muti-million pound asset to be prohibited from extreme sports whilst under contract.

How do you feel a Bruno, Casemiro and Pogba midfield would have been? Would United only need a striker right now?

I wonder sometimes if ETH would have got something out of him.

Still think we're better off with Eriksen over Pogba and tbh Eriksen isn't really a CM either

While I expect Casemiro would have been a better partner for him than anyone else we used over his time, I still think he would have been inconsistent as he would've still been expected to be the main playmaker and controller of the team. Something which I don't think suits him.

Also his injury issues over the last three seasons makes it not worth thinking about.

I’d take him back for free. Would like to see what our baldy can do with him.
Absolutely not. Let him fester at Juve.

People don't realise it's no coincidence this club is doing better after we've gotten rid of toxic influences like Pogba and PR7. Lets move on.

Unbelievable!

You do actually understand he was injured ever since he fecked off from us? And that was also very often the case while he was here too?

#Pogback

All jokes aside, he's obviously finished as a player and the club would never have him back after the pogumentary.

It's a shame as if we had a 24/25 year old Pogba next to Casemiro right now, we'd be flying.

He was never consistent at any age. Flashes here and there, but always had a mistake in him, like trying to take too many touches, getting dispossessed in the middle of the pitch and the opposition go on to score. He needs time and space, and motivation. If he doesn't have these things in every game, then he just stinks the place out.

It is remarkable though that Pogba, Lingard and Ronaldo leave and almost instantly all the dressing room leaks and stories completely stop dead.

Funny that.

Not totally true, his first season was excellent feeding Ibrahimovic, he could have had 20 assists alone that season if they'd finished the chances. The first Ole season was great too, didn't he get 10 goals and 10 assists? I agree though he had some up and down moments - he suffered through the Mourinho period which I think we can all understand.

Well yeah that's true, but I think that was more the lack of discipline at the club showing. I don't think ETH would be allowing that.

Too many things must to for him to get 10++ assist a season.
1) he needs a awesome DMC
2) needs a awesome number 9
3) need motivation
4) need a system
5) need love and nurturing

else his mouthpieces in twitter will constantly split the fanbase and spread more and more toxicity about the dressing room.

No coincidence he and Lingard have gone and the professionalism at the club has improved so quickly.

True, and we all know if those two were still here, all we would be hearing about is how EtH is disrespecting them by refusing to let them go on holiday to recover from the 10th injury.

Rough rough last few months for him. For his sake, I hope he finds some joy with playing
He looked pretty happy on social networks. I don't think he even enjoys football that much tbf, he looks happier doing other things, IMO.
