Absolutely bottled it out of nowhere haven’t they. Will finish third this season behind us.

Poor poor second half. This was their chance to stamp their authority on the title race but they blew it.

Not good enough (and I would rather them win it than City).

Passion and work rate was there but they didn't open up City enough and I just can't see them winning it. Way behind what Liverpool and City were a few seasons ago despite the good points tally

TBH I now want City to put another 2 or 3 past them in these last few minutes. Was hoping for a draw but if City are going to win, then a confidence shattering (and humbling) hammering would be good.

Oh, and Gabriel is absolutely awful.

Gary Neville was the only one to say what we all thought. They were always going to bottle it. It was cute seeing the Arsenal fans get giddy though.

Neville is probably right on Arsenal finishing 3rd behind Utd too.

If we finish above Arsenal then every single one of them on this forum should be made to apologise for the shit they’ve been spitting all season.

We actually had people on here thinking Arsenal were going to win the league. It was obvious even when they were almost 10 points clear that it was never going to happen.

Too many errors today, our defence went back to those horrifying days. Still a long way to go but I don't think we'll recover from this as far as the title race goes. Good game though.

Would much prefer Arsenal to win the league over City as realistically this is probably my elderly Arsenal-fan dad's last chance to see it happen. My heart isn't entirely made of stone.

But that just means I get no joy from them winning but irritated at shit when they play like the useless cnuts they fundamentally are and lose. Shitebags.

They basically have to win the reverse fixture, don't they?
No, as Leicester showed head-to-heads are pointless. They lost home and away to Arsenal yet galvanised. Then again, they won at City - something Arsenal seem allergic too.

Arsenal still have to travel to Villa Park, Anfield, St James still. If they want to win the title, then they need a statement performance.

Carragher has been desperately trying to embarrass him because he stuck to his guns even when they were 8 points ahead with a game in hand. Truth is he’s been around long enough to know “it’s Arsenal”.

Arsenal being frauds was inevitable.... Arsenal probably bottling it all the way down to third is going to be hysterical. I'd sack Neville if I were Sky too, the smugness would be too much to handle.

I'd be stunned if they come out of their next 2 with 6 too.

My thoughts too. We have exceeded expectations but our form has dropped quite a bit. It doesn't feel like we have a game in hand right now.

We have been lost for a while now. We need to get Jesus back to free up some pressure on Martinelli and Saka. Some comical defending doesn't help, but what I am most worried about is our creativity has gone down massively.

We also have a tendency to get sucked in ugly football, where we and the opposing teams complain to the ref about one thing or another. It doesn't help our focus which is already brittle at this point.

Losing their home game of the two City fixtures is catastrophic, and must be a huge blow for their confidence. They could have lived with a draw, and tried to keep the gap for the away fixture. Now I expect them to crumble.

Not qualified for Europe in years but a good start to the season has seen them become the most toxic fan base I’ve seen the smugness was next level, anybody would think they’re the greatest club to ever grace the PL.

Sit down you daft cnuts

They should have given a fight against City in the FA cup. It reminds me of our loss to City in that Carabao semis when we were challenging for title under Ole and after that loss we just started to crumble and City took that one step further. This is similar. What's the point of resting and not competing for everything.
