Ogden knows nothing, he’s seen someone else reporting Elliott want to finance a bid and thought why couldn’t they just finance the Glazers to get clicks. The original reporting said part of Raine’s role is matching up financiers like Elliott with partners to create viable bidders, so doesn’t seem like they’re offering the Glazers financing.

Not really. It’s no surprise that pretty much the entire fan base has had enough and want the Glazers out. They have never been popular owners.
So your question is obviously a disingenuous trick - because most will say Qatar just to get rid of the Glazers. That’s not to say that they necessarily feel Qatar is best for the club full stop.
Well, right and straight answer should be Glazers 》Qatar. Because blood money, morals, sportswashing and shit.
So for anti Qatar posters (those who are outraged by them) that shouldn't be any dilemma. Glazers over Qatar any day.

I did see some corner taken down and works ongoing. I don't think Barca have 1.3 Billion without either selling some more of its assets or bank loans.
They've agreed a sponsorship with Spotify. The repayments will cost £25m per annum, Sults.

I'd obviously prefer that not to happen and I'm assuming the Glazers would be able to get investment if they wanted to, but bankruptcy would be preferable to me over the Qatar takeover to be honest.

I don't think there is really much chance of the Glazers staying, mind.
Prefer bankruptcy over the Qataris? The club would go into oblivion for many years. That's the worst I have heard over the last week from a United fan.

Could you please give a reason for not preferring the Qataris?

Morals, not morale. Big difference.
Also on your logic nobody would support the Qatar bid if it’s worse than keeping the Glazer ownership. It’s not a purely black an white issue hence many being conflicted about the situation.

I'm not convinced I can cheer for a club tied to the Qatari state in such a way, so I feel I have little to lose, really.

The absolute worst that financial problems can do to the club is liquidation, which would inevitably leave me with a phoenix club to support. A Qatari takeover doesn't leave me with that.

I could be wrong, maybe I'll feel differently when it happens and I will be able to continue supporting Utd but at the moment that's feeling harder and harder to imagine.

I swear SSN is news set up for the people who don’t know that social media exists, because you can find a whole load of stuff about things by going through tweets and follows certain accounts that are ‘ITK’ or accounts of journalists who are always on in some way.

Elliot need hounding. Need to make it very clear this is a non starter.
This is worse than no sale. No debt is ideal but I'd prefer INEOS to Glazers and hedge fund. INEOS at least have external profitable avenues to spread the cost if we're having liquidity problems when the banks ask for their money.

Hedge funds giving the glazers free money creates no value, it will come out of our revenue because the Glazers also make no money of their own. It merely suspends the inevitable. I don't even know who the hell is in this Elliot thinking investing in glazer ownership makes sense. These americans just seem to have no clue. Glazers are already having trouble servicing a lesser debt ffs.
