MOTM. Won his duels, played physical, brilliant passing and a superb assist to the winner.

When he's at his best, he never seems to need to get out of second gear. Similar to Irwin in that sense. Excellent performance.

I mean... What can you say about that delivery for the goal. Ridiculous.

Best left back in world football.

Was a bit quiet with his crossing last season after the previous season where he was great at it. We see it more this season than last and today's was another example of him putting a great cross into the box

What delivery, we've seen that before and it's good to see it attacked the way it was.

Sky saying it’s his first major trophy. Was he really not involved in the other 3 at all? He joined in 2014. Christ his injuries used to be bad.

Why are Sky saying it's his first honour? He's been here since 2014. Injuries don't mean he wasn't part of the squad.

In Shaw, Lisandro, Varane, Casemiro and Rash Utd just have a level of player that not many can match.

We're witnessing peak Luke Shaw at 27.

Can't believe his peak is actually what we paid for him back in the day. 30 million pounds for soon to be the best left back in the world in 2023?

Never in doubt.

Crazy he has so little assists yet it feels like he has about 20 this season.

That double leg break fecked him over as he was immense with Depay that season. He would be a different monster altogether if it wasnt for that setback. It's even unbelievable he came back from that to how he is now.

He's still only 27. Many many more years to come from him. Our LB position is sorted with him and Malacia. I think the signing of Malacia and how good his performances have been have pushed Shaw. We saw when Telles came in the same thing happened. Delighted for him. He should have many more trophies.

It's no surprise that all his managers here have figured that he needs competition to thrive. Goes to show how much raw footballing talent the lad has and fortunately we know the right buttons to press.

His performance levels this season is genuinely one of the best seasons from a left back that I've seen. Sensational form. Crazy to think that he was dropped the first month but since he's come back in, incredible. Just so complete. Brilliant on the ball with his passing, brilliant with his moving with the ball, with his defending, in the air... Literally has it all.

For the first time in his career, I am confident that he can maintain this level long term.

He has an absolute wand of a left foot. Magic.

Beautiful assist. Feels like he has more than 5 this season with his delivery.

His ability on the ball is up there with the best in world football. Couple that the mentality EtH has instilled in him we’ve got a left handed defense that attackers simply don’t want to exploit. Shaw is world class.

Said it in the match day thread when we get a free kick out on the left he's got that delivery down to a fine art now. Been a great avenue for goals and chances all season

He’s quite simply a tremendous footballer. Had he played in a Sir Alex Ferguson team I think many would have him as one of the best left backs in PL history. Sounds like hyperbole but I’ve never seen anything like it, I’ve never seen a fullback as complete as he is, he’s so good you could stick him up front and I bet he’d do a job. There’s not enough superlatives to describe him when he’s on it.
