Not giving up on him yet. The talent is there, it’s just getting it out of him on a consistent basis and Ten Hags the man to do it.
Yep, I can imagine he has a plan in place for him already for the summer, will be good for him to have another couple weeks at Carrington as well to do some extras without England distractions.

He looks defeated. Kind of understandable since he wasn't trusted on LW when we were starting game with 3 goals advantage. But he has only himself to blame.

Maybe it's just body language he has tbh. Lethargic.

Lost faith on him already. Enough is enough he doesnt looks interested at all. We should take the hit and cash in whatever we can get.
I agree. Let's get in a proper United winger in his place and no more of this inverted winger nonsense. Garnacho is the perfect example of a winger I want to see but somebody more complete would be great while he's still developing.

He looked like he got tired , which influenced his decisions. Of all players I thought he would square the chance. Maybe he thought were so far ahead who cares? I would have been angrier if it was 0-0 of course

Had a really good 5 minute spell at one point. Not being sarcastic... for 5 minutes all the little flicks, lay-offs, one-touch stuff just worked really well.

After that it was more of the same - completely ineffective, lifeless and weirdly nonchalant.

Not bad in a quick pass exchange, still looks like missing so many minutes this season is taking it's toll.

Needs to get some time on the pitch vs Fulham in case of good result after 1st half.

I don't want any more bundesliga players, no matter how much you guys pump them up. Sancho is completely ineffectual 90% of the time because he doesn't have a third of the effort WW has

Aye, definitely. Hopefully he can get himself a goal or assist soon and kickstart his season.

Got 30+ mins with the tie effectively over yet somehow managed to make a stronger case for Pellistri than himself.

Wasting that offside chance, presented to him by Pellistri, with Elanga in position to roll the ball into an empty net, was something else.

Seems to be not fit enough for whatever reasons. All those time missed and trainings to get him back didn't seem to do the trick. We will know next year, I guess, given that he is unsellable.

I just don't understand where his career is headed. Staying at Utd longer hoping that his fortunes turnaround could be fatal for his confidence. I don't think ETH is one for letting players hang around with next to no output so perhaps it's best for all if he moves on in the summer.

He’s still young, turns 23 next week and united signed him on a 5+1 contract signed in July 2021. Which means he’ll probably be at the club until 2027 when he’s 27.

I think he’s a playmaking winger / number 10 that needs the ball and many people were saying similar things about Rashford last year. He should finally settle into the PL next season but right now he needs to be playing right wing whilst alternating in game with Bruno, he has the ability we need to trust the ETH process with him, and right now we need to show him some faith, he’s a young man who can come back.

I'd loan him out next season in the hope of him finding some form somewhere so we can sell him. We've already got one underpermoning expensive winger who ETH signed, he needs another year for me but Sancho has used up his nine lives.

Being the second highest paid player in the team maybe helping a bit.

Nobody is buying him, unless he decides to take a paycut.

I honestly didn't think he was as bad as some here are making out. I saw some fairly decent inter-play from him, and thought technically his game was fairly alright.

The decision not to pass to Elanga was an awful one but it also happened when we were four goals up in the tie with about 25 minutes to play. In that situation I do somewhat understand a player trying to build confidence going for the shot himself.

I thought he was okay.

But yeah, ETH not starting him in games like this is weird if he wanted him to be in the plan. I would rather we give him time in games like this one than in EPL games with weird formations just to make things harder for ourselves when we know how Sancho will exactly play at this moment.

For such high wages and fee, you are OK to give the player 1 year to accommodate. But by summer will be 2. I think we should allow a little more time till next January and if he hasn't improved alot, he should be sold.

Why will anyone buy a flop on silly wages? Unless he would forego more than half of his salary, he is not going anywhere.

Just because he doesn't suit us, this does mean he is not a talented player. Of course we will take a big loss, but no point keeping him around for mediocre appearances.

Thought he did well apart from being greedy there on that 2 v 1. I know he wants a goal but just make the correct decision

What's annoying about him is whether he's successful in a match (or rather portions of a match because he's never shown 90 minute stamina) seems to depend on things that it really shouldn't. A little flick coming off here, a nice one two there.

That isn't the foundation of being a Man Utd footballer for me. It's all a bit airy fairy. I'd rather see a player busting a gut, pressing like a maniac, taking someone on, basically showing energy and commitment to the cause. Then we hope the quality you had as a Dortmund player shows through because obviously it's about more than legging it round. But if it doesn't at least you have the right foundations that if and when it clicks, you have the right stuff to be a key player. You're showing your teammates and manager you have the mettle to take responsibility for your performance and work for the team.

At the moment he's just a passenger, mentally he's not there. Maybe it's simply a personality thing. He's not cut out to be the guy we hoped he would be.

If we are gonna pay his money anyways, why will we sell him?

Even on a bad day Antony offers more. He's a nothing player, really disappointing.

Will probably be impossible to sell due to his wages. He is a 30m player who should earn 70k. A club such as Everton might pay 30m but they will of course not pay him 250k or more in wages. He will play out his contract with us and will be another expensive Ole mistake.

You are having a joke surely. Antony offers nothing but the same trick over and over which rarely works.

Sancho was pretty decent tonight I thought looked to make things happen and was always available

Thought he looked a lot brighter than usual. Possibly getting a bit of match sharpness now. Hopefully he kicks on against Fulham

Even if it was offside, i really didnt like that he didnt make that pass to Elanga. Its a bit worrying when players do that. Either they are selfish or they dont have the vision to recognise the situation. Last time against Betis it was Antony and now it was Sancho doing it.

I think and hope that Sancho was being selfish today because of the lead and the fact he came off the bench.

Besides that moment he played okay.

Is Sancho vs Antony the new Rashford vs Martial?

Thought he made a ok cameo tonight wasn't anything mind blowing but just ok. Did have his blushes spared by the lino for that ridiculous non cut back to Elanga and if he was on i would imagine i would be a little more peeved off.

I don’t think he was really bad. I just can’t like his game, I kinda have my particular type.
Young Ronaldo was my type because he kept going even if leading to unflattering moments he kept going. Whilst Sancho seems to be waiting for the game to fall on his lap.

I thought other than not squaring it to Elanga he looked a bit sharper than usual tonight.

Both parties should move on , he's wasting his potential if there's any and we're not benefiting by his presence.
