Maybe he should have but he set McTominay up well
It was a good option, think the pass was just a little behind Scott meaning he could not take the hit in stride.

Poor half, Sabitizer needs to drop deeper, MCT on an island in the middle of 4/5 Fulham players doesn't work, he lacks the spatial awareness to take the ball consistently in those spots, he is far too isolated.

Sancho playing with fear and no confidence. Slows down attacks, passes when he should shoot, no intensity and all wrong so far. Very disappointing.

Overall, quite a bad half from our standards. Took us about 35 minutes to get a few passes right and try to attack properly.

Very flat first half from us. We look like we're struggling to link up the play at all. Casemiro and longer term Eriksen's absence is hurting us here. Combine that with some poor play when we have gotten to our forwards and you're left with this.

Mctom has to score that, why take a touch just hit it. Fred has to come on. There's no cohesion in CM Sabitzer and Mctom way to many holes. Bruno I think is supposed to make a 3 he all over the place.

Changes needed. We've created chances and played poor, play better create better chances we get a couple then.

Sancho is somehow even worse than Weghorst.
Yeah. They have both been poor. At least Wout is involved a bit more. Sancho had plenty of little opportunities to create something and bottled it every time.

A pretty horrible half of football all round.

Pretty sure that's Bruno's job. High risk, low probability.

    1 in 5, 1 in 10 might come off, but it's the 1 that he's there for.

And if he bags a goal or assist, well... Yeh, job done obviously. He's not there to pass side ways and backwards, thank feck!
There’s an abundantly obvious middle ground between being a high risk high reward player and “pass side ways and backwards”. It’s strange how Fernandes fans are so obtuse to it.

Again, from Twatface, Fulham have certainly been the better side, again:

United, 3 shots, 3 on target

Fulham, 5 shots, 1 on target.

    Another interesting stat:

    United 52% possession

    Fulham 53% possession

    :wenger:
    A game of 105%

Sancho is starting to get worryingly consistently poor
I’m holding hopes for a rashford like turn around
Could do without every player trying to play a through ball

At least there’s the entertainment of reading posts that legit believe this is all on Sancho
Here comes the precious Sancho fanboys. No one is saying this performance is all on him, we're just stating the obvious in that he's shite - as usual.

Martinez is our best player by far. Incredible player, we’re very lucky to have him. Take him out of the side and we’re back to an average Ole team.

Besides that one fantastic through ball, Bruno has made mistake after another.

Got better as the half wore on but not great. McTominay and Sabitzer haven't done a good job of progressing the ball (tbf to McT he's frequently being left alone in the centre). Martinez our bedt player of the half. Bruno the only one trying any creative passes. Sancho's been involved but his decision making has been really poor. Rashford not involved as much as you'd like. Wout has been decent linking the play but as usual offers absolutely nothing as a target in the box. Antony would improve us imo.

Disappointing first half again. Sancho is terrible, it's like playing with 10 men. Gave up chasing his man quite a few times. mctominay and Sabitzer hiding in the midfield.

Our performance won't improve till we bring on Fred and Antony.

Sancho does not bottle everything. He had a few really good passes that led to the only moments where we actually opened them up a little. He’s just not a player at the moment that will takeover the game when everyone else in attack is s***
Some sense at last, he hasn't been anywhere near the worst player on the pitch.

There's not enough pace up top to worry Fulham. We're also not controlling the midfield so can't pass our way through them.

Are we honestly sure that there isn't a better attacking player at youth level than Weghorst? I refuse to believe that there isn't somebody else we can try in that position or can't move things around to get another quicker/more attacking player in there. Sancho and Weghorst provide 0 goal threat. That's just not acceptable.

While I tend to agree with you, we don't have the players around Bruno to afford him the luxury of playing 1 in 5 passes. His decision making is also very poor for a player at this level.

He's also only got one player to hit in the line up.

It's still horrible watching this side at times and shows how much work is still to be done in the Summer to bring in more quality and depth.

We look knackered, our pressing is sporadic at best. With the lack of midfield, we can't deal with their press either. Licha is the only player who has elite technical ability. Everyone else is just ponderous. Rashford's touch has gone for the last three games, Bruno is having his 'has to create on his own' games where he rushes everything and Sancho has been massively disappointing. It wouldn't surprise me if one of their crosses hit the mark and we go down. Need Fred and Antony at halftime.

This team without Casemiro is close to Oleball. Ten Hag needs to bin half of these lot off. Weghorst, Sancho, Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Maguire all need to go.

Sancho has played 3-4 passes that led to dangerous attacks. Hopefully you understand there’s more to football than goals and assists

Agreed. It’s a lame excuse. We’ll never become a team that’s high quality in possession allowing loose inconsistent football

Give it up mate, he’s a nothing player.

No pace, bad first touch, half-presses, poor decision making, poor final ball. We got absolutely fleeced again.

He doesn’t even have the excuse of being tired.

I hope ETH right now is tearing in to them for that pathetic display, sadly some of this squad have been there before and know how to collectively stink the place out!

Sabitzer has been poor, hopefully his lone comes to an end. Shouldn't even consider keeping him here.
Guy has no authority on the ball in midfield and slow to everything. He actually looks anxious and reactive to everything happening in the game.
Can't believe I will ever say this but we need Fred ASAP
