I think the algos just picked up the news and run with it. It's come down, so could mean nothing.

Hard for me to believe anything after the bids in tweets, definitely don’t believe @qatari, they’re obviously biased, with that being said, idk who sportico is.
Should be a done deal if true. Anything SJR improves upon will be at the risk of funding more debt which I can't see happening there must be threshold. Just hope this is concluded ASAP irrespective.
I mean we are okay to believe the sources that suggests the Glazers will stay but not okay to believe those that suggest they will sell.

The market has been wild this week, issues in America with inflation, bank crisis' and multiple runs on banks so the market has been super choppy. Most stocks are down, tech is ripping however which is weird BUT the United stock price seems to be on a tear today, which means as always, someone is privy to the bids and knows something.
Based on today's stock price movement I'd say a full sale is likely, half an hour ago, someone put down big money and big money continues to flow into the stock. If it ends close to $30 by close today I'd suggest the sale is done.
I wont believe it until the Daily Star and Indykaila confirm.

I was probably being overly harsh. I do know that when they set up they poached a load of the sports business guys from Bloomberg, so they aren't a terrible source, but this would be somewhat out of the blue.
For what it's worth, they are also reporting today that parties from Saudi Arabia, Ares Management and Sixth Street have met with the Glazers offering financing and that Bruce Karsh’s Oaktree Capital are expected to meet with the Glazers soon.
Yeah I’m not sure why people keep saying they are unreliable? I can’t see any red flags.
