Only reason he would stay would be he believes Napoli has a better chance of CL glory next season (or even defending the CL, if they win it this season). Of course, if Osimhen leaves, all bets are off, and it's best to strike when the iron is hot. It's in his best interest to upgrade his finances sooner than later, and as well as give him the best chance for enduring glory (i.e. titles). Yeah, Napoli will do well for a bit, but like Monaco, will eventually be picked apart. Plus the Koulibali example is a warning to current players. The price was always too high until he passed his peak. In Min Jae's case, he should seriously consider the smooth exit instead of re-commiting.
You make a really interesting point about Min-jae's future and its interdependence with Osimhen's. I would throw Kvaradona in the mix as well. The three of them together have shown what they are capable of in both Serie A and the Champions League. Where would Napoli be without them? The key thing is that (if the tabloids are to be believed) this guy has got a very short time window at the beginning of the transfer window to leave for an attractive price, where he could go pretty much anywhere he wanted and command a top wage. At that point, he won't know whether Osimhen and Kvaradona will stay or not, so would he be willing to miss his chance of a huge pay day? Seeing him leave, I think the other two would also push for exits, but I'm not sure whether Napoli would allow them all to leave at once. If the other two don't have reasonable buyout clauses, Napoli are likely to say £150m, take it or leave it. I don't think Napoli are strapped for cash, so I expect them to hold out for a massive fee for Osimhen.

That source is hilarious
 The Caf should have a twitter account for this kind of transfer "news". I believe this kinda account is somehow get paid by some interest parties.

And to think that we have so many members already.

"Haaland was spotted near Old Trafford. Close source said that Man United 25m bid should be enough to tempt Man CIty."

He was torn a new arsehole tonight.
He shouldn't have played with having two international games in South Korea. In general he looks like he needs a rest mentally and physically. I'm sure he will rock it in the next games again.

I wonder which commentator/pundit/talking head would be the first to pronounce his name Kim Minge

Mick McCarthy maybe?

Put in a good cross for Napoli's opener tonight. I think he looks tired though, he mentioned recently he feels mentally fatigued.

He is not left-footed. If we sign a Martinez backup/competitor, it's going to be a left-footed CB.

We need him because of Varane, not Martinez.
Most of the posts above are in reaction to Martinez' injury and he has mostly played as the LCB in Napoli's system. Signing a younger CB to compete with Varane also makes more sense. He is 26, entering his prime and is most likely expecting to play a lot more than he probably would with Varane as his competition. It also remains to be seen, if we actually do move on from both Maguire and Lindelöf.

He's not slow, physical attributes wise he's got everything and he's pretty agile. He seems closer to Vidic than Rio in style.
Vidic was not fast, he needed Rio's pace same way Licha needs Varanes'. I presume he will bbe replacing Varane long term, if so he needs to have pace.

For those who isnt aware of Kim Min Jae much,

he is by far one of the top 3 CBs in the world ahead of all of our current CBs.

Kim is faster than most of our players at the top speed of 35+km/h and is officially faster than Son Heung Min.

His father is a former professional judo athlete and his mother is a former professional track athlete.

I would say he is head and shoulder ahead of Upamecano, Timber, Militao and KK.

As soon as we sign Kim we wont be shouting at our defenders to "Move the farking ball forward~!" Like we always do at Old Trafford.

all Italian CB legends have praised him to be one in a century CB. Take their words for granted. Sign him and retrieve all the fees through our close connection to the Korean market and enjoy watching forward-thinking football on the pitch.

His tackling style is similar to this.

Kim is not slow though, he's fast enough like Vidic. More important than speed his positioning is very good.
Not slow is an understatement.

he is one of the fastest CBs in the world.
Let me put it this way, Kim can outpace Haaland on the ball.

Ok I’m in. 42m pounds release clause valid during 15 days summer transfer window.

Absolute no brainer. 42m for a player who would normally cost 65-70m? Id say a few PL clubs will be looking to swoop.
