Brilliant footballer but he’s 31 and has faced a lot of injury issues over the last 5 years. Makes no sense for us whatsoever.

Neymar is an exceptional player but at his age and with his injury record he should stay away from OT as humanely possible. His salary is also off the charts. We can't and quite frankly we shouldn't pay it

If it’s a decent wage not astronomical 100% you take him and sell Sancho. I’m still a big fan of Neymar.

He ticks so many boxes for us in ability. Draws fouls, takes great set pieces, potential backup for Rashford or Bruno and can come on late in games to create some magic.

He’d even learn Antony a trick or two to make him a better footballer. The main thing here is attitude too and he’s been alright the last few years compared to Mbappe for example.

Until we don’t go away from this, this Club will never move forward.
Okay then let's pay 70m on a player who plays on the same positions as Rashford and Bruno and is also very injury prone. We don't need a CF, CM, RB, CB, GK do we?

We have a team of water carriers no magicians. That’s our problem and has been for years and years. We have Bruno that’s it.

People would have been saying don’t bring Cantona in back when I imagine. Sometimes a gamble is worth taking. Our club knows that more than anyone.

I had no idea he was 31. Really though he was still around 27/28.

Fantastic player but I would much rather someone like Osimhen. Much better long term signing, lower wages and less injury problems. Also Neymar is pretty irritating

Same, thought he was around 29. Still, it's just ripe for Woodward.

Absolutely not interested in Neymar and the circus that follows him. Can never ever deny his ability but his injuries and general shit-houserey is not needed here. I'll stick to YouTube clips if I want to see some of his skills.

The people that want Neymar here are 100% into wearing gimp masks and getting whipped. That’s the level of masochism we’re talking about

No, no and no. We brought in Ronaldo, undeniably a greater footballer than Neymar but carries with him a comparable amount of baggage, but it's safe to say that it didn't work out that well for us. Ronnie was actually pretty decent last season but the drama wasn't worth his exceptional talent. And beyond that, Ronaldo had a vastly superior record to Neymar.

It's a no, amigo.

HELLO
An aging superstar on astronomical wages who’s averaged 18 leagues games a season for the last 6 years, it’s like the final boss of all our mistakes. Let me guess - he can pull the Jones faces and play the piano too?

Never rated him. He's a show pony more than a proper world class footballer. You never seen him in games when the chips are down.

Pass.

Unless we grow some balls as a club and absolutely hammer poor officiating to protect our players in the future, that’d be a massive issue for Neymar in the PL where he will immediately become by far the most fouled player in the league.

He’s had some awful impact injuries throughout his career, so it’s a genuine concern.

Can’t put into words how bad a signing this would be.

What are you trying to prove with this? Messi and the midfield were the heartbeat of that amazing team.

He's a YouTube highlights player. Never right for the PL. He needs to play in the best team in the land and for one where he doesn't have to do any running back.

He'd be an awful signing for us. If anyone thinks otherwise they don't know enough about football or this division.

I don't think he's right for us especially where we are currently and what we are (hopefully) trying to build.

That said, I cannot fathom how people can try and paint him as some over-rated over-hyped dud. Granted he's probably not the world's most likeable player but he's by no means the worst.

Probably fairly unlucky with his career timeline in that his absolute peak was also when Messi and Ronaldo were at the peak of their powers so he was in their shadow, and is maybe going to end up being outshone by Mbappe and the next generation over the next 5 years. However I don 't think we've reached that stage yet and I genuinely think you can make an argument he is still PSGs most important player at this stage, but have had many late night arguments with pals over this one. Maybe I'm seeing something that just isn't there.

I also actually think he was underrated during his time at Barca, for the same reasons as people use to detract from him. I think a lot of people retcon history and say he was carried by Messi/Barcelona but he was a key cog in that machine for me, especially in the 2015 season. Maybe not top 3 of his generation, but there have been multiple seasons he's clearly been the 3rd best player in the world. I think he was and is a sublimely gifted and effective player and I just don't understand the hate.

IF this is a serious rumour I hope that it’s only a 2 year contract so we’re not lumbered with a high salaried player who’s no longer needed

let’s hope this is a smokescreen for a shot at Mbappe

The fact that PSG want rid of him should be enough to tell everybody everything they need to know at this point.

I prefer Mbappe a convert Rashford to full CF. Having two of them changing positions and runing behin defnces could do a havoc to any team.

No fecking thanks, most overrated player I think I’ve ever known of and who is doing what a lot of Brazilian stars seem to do in their 30’s which is embrace the party lifestyle.

Whenever I think about what I hate in modern day footballers I instantly picture Neymar and Pogba, all style and no substance with zero bollocks to boss a game as they’re too concerned with breaking a nail.

Signing Neymar yep as long as he is free and pays his own wages. As for some shouting for Mbappe wake up folk we are not dining at any top table as far as the real ferrari players are concerned. To think so is delusion, please don't hurt you head even thinking about it. We will have in a few months, if things go the way i see them, have more levers than a atlantic steam liner.

How is this even a thing, the guy's a cnut. You can't want a reset of the club for having too many big egos, then want this bellend. Leave him to play with his sister.
