Well he can do it to push out the glazers without paying them a cent. The new owners are getting more shares while the price goes down. The overall value of their holding remains the same. Whereas the minority stakeholder loses out as he will neither get new shares nor will he gain any value as the price gets diluted.
I am pro Jassim too but I am not too sure anymore. If he can't compete with SJR in offering the Glazer's something more lucrative, how will be write off the debt, build us a new stadium, install competent people to run the club, and invest money in our squad?

Apparently he was funded by Qatar but they lost big on the Credit Suisse failure so aren’t too keen to throw money the way if a football club at the moment

On the United Stand, Mark Goldbridge is a Nottingham Forest fan who realised that pretending to he a United fan and saying controversial opinions on the Internet is a good way to become famous. The fact that he's somehow become a "voice of the fans" is bizarre.
