It’s crazy that Matt Walsh has been able to grift himself the career as an “alpha” he has. I know these people are always massive losers, but Matt Walsh seems particularly lame, he doesn’t sound smart even to idiots, he’s pretty dorky looking and of course he’s the usual standard of vile. Why has he been championed?

if Trump or RD gets to the white house they will put a stop to underage children being mutilated and experimented on like frankensteins monster. The would also try to prevent big pharmacys from getting rich of cutting off childrens genitalia before these children knows that Santa Claus does not exist in real life. Hopefully it will also take less than a 20 minute phone call to get approval to have your balls removed etc.

I have voted left my entire life and will always do, but I side more with Walsh and Dr Jordan B Peterson regarding this topic than the left. Which clearly tells you its of control. That does not mean I like Walsh on the whole, but I can still agree with some of the points he makes.
Can you watch this video and still support whats going on? I can not.
I should add that I dont mind people identifying as non-binary or whatever they want, I have a friend who identifies as part lizard, part cat in the USA and I like her alot. As long as they are not harming anyone else or encourages children to do the same I dont have any problem with it. And I am also very open to people being gay, or men wearing panties and all that kind of stuff. I would even date a shemale! So its not about that at all.

If you can watch this video and think whats going on is OK, then it tells me you lack critical thinking skills. Feel free to convince me otherwise. And I dont like or idolize Walsh or the Dr, but I do not deny logical thinking and arguments which they make in some this matters.

How can it be offensive to be upset about patients thats being subjected to inhumane and dangerous procedures?
Experimental surgery on people with a catastrophic complication rate that cuts off normally functioning body parts with minors not fully aware of the consequences before going under the knife. People like the girl in the video I linked to never able to show her upper body in public again etc. being disfigured with constant infections. Thats the "monster".
Not the people undergoing the surgeries, they are the victims. I dont think thats offensive at all. I just care about the kids who need to have procedures every week to keep their experimental organs functional while many also have serious side effects and infections on a repeated basis.
There also are no long term studies on these surgeries, meaning they are very experimental, I do not want children and teenagers to be used as experimental lambs while clinics make lots of money on them.
If adults above 20 want to these things, I can accept it. But to do this to children and teenagers who are not mature enough to understand the full pictures of changing their genitalia and likely never experience an orgasm during their life is something I can not agree with.
I know I would never have able to take such decisions at like 10-16 years old.

So I am not against people having to go on this journey, but they have to be given enough information and be adults before making radical, permanent & life altering changes to their bodies that will make them have to rely on constant medical treatments for the rest of their lives.

That's fair, though a consequence of that is that utter garbage human being Matt Walsh is being given a platform. It's dangerous if we suddenly find ourselves discussing Matt Walsh videos like they're legitimate sources of information. It's a bit like getting your information on Judaism from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

And whether or not they are credible is irrelevant. They are influential and need to be argued down. The rise of the right hasn't been matched by similar zeal fro the left and so I think we the left need to engage more.
Zizek spoke about the difference in how the right v left interface with confrontation, usually it is embraced more by the right. There has never really been an activist left equivalent of 4chan etc despite the early online content being hugely left wing and dominated by the idea of online utopia.
I was astounded Peterson didn't become a universal laughing stock after that Joe Rogan drivel. He sounded like someone who needed help operating pedestrian crossings. Yet he is being quoted in this thread as an authority. So I think engagement is essential. Or it'll hush happen over yonder.

I haven’t read the Protocols but Jon Ronson has and I trust his opinion. He said that taking the time to actually read them makes it crystal clear that they’re ludicrous bollox. So, in a way, they become more influential the less they’re read. Which is why bad/dangerous ideas are better exposed than suppressed , as that’s the best way to highlight their flaws.
And yet millions of people believed them and they contributed to what would become the Holocaust. I don't know who Ron Johnson is, but I assume he's not an anti-semite or susceptible to such - and that's how he approached it.
It's the same with Matt Walsh. He is patently a dangerous ideologue who doesn't know that he's talking about... to us. But to others he might make a lot of sense. Maybe he'll focus and intensify feelings they already had or were adjacent to. That's the danger of giving someone like that a platform.
There's a cat near us in a tiny town in NI. Requested a litter box at school, school said no, rumours of the parents suing.
I know youre not doing it but these types of discussions Shouldn't even equated to transgender kids and what they are going through.

I'd thought that was a hoax? Some googling suggests It may be a common enough one, also seen in Cork and corrected by the school?
Edit: Scotland too, with schools confirming it as untrue.

You’re right that this is the case, the people who champion him are weirdos. It’s just that with some of the others, I can usually see one thing about them. Like Crowder is kind of well built (with a t shirt on), Shapiro talks really fast, Peterson probably seems wise to the lad who thinks going a week without masturbating is going to unlock his potential, but Walsh is so nondescript. He just has a punchable face which is par for the course with these guys. Although tbh when I was listing the right wing grifters I was struggling hard to add any more in with a trait that made them stand out, and I was scraping the barre already with talks fast and makes no *** guys feel good, so this was a lot of words to say yeah you were right.
