Wow.. that would be brutal.. considering we registered you know who..Just don't register him. Simple as that.

Sorry but these are way off. Every single one. And Hannibal is not even for sale, nor should he be.Mmm. £5m for Bailly, between £10/15m for Hannibal and £15m for Donny I'd say.
This idea you have of players lying to fans through totally banal PR statements every player says and through their actions/motivations that you are 90% inferring is so hilariously juvenile. He was being transferred, when do players get paid to transfer teams - never.
If this was us terminating the contract so he's a free agent, then a payoff would make sense.
This is money he's asking for because he'd be getting paid less at another club. That's not our problem.
Pointing out that he's lied about his intentions and desires, isn't an "expression of fiction." It's literal fact. He's aware he won't play, knows without games he won't get picked for England. These are things he's spoken about wanting to do.
He's also been vocal in wanting to stay, being captain of Manchester United is a privilege yada yada yada - yet is trying to milk the club to leave, when he knows he's not good enough.
Actions say otherwise.
Alright, I called him a scab, I suppose a leech would have been more accurate and pleased you more.
There's no chance of constructive dismissal for not being in the squad.People saying he should be banished, etc, you cant really do that as PSG became aware of with Mbappe. All employment laws apply to all employees, if we refuse to put him in our squad or we dont register him without good reason then he could come after us legally for constructive dismissal or some such emploment law (I am not sure which one exactly).
All you can do is stick him in the squad and don't select him. What Erik could say is "he is not part of my squad options anymore, I can't see him getting many minutes with the way we are playing"... but thats not massively different to what we have said.
We don't need to banish him though, we just need to keep playing him as much as we have. Most teams would love to have a player of his quality as depth, it's only in our interest to let him go if we can make some money back - which paying him off and only getting 30m would probably not be the case.People saying he should be banished, etc, you cant really do that as PSG became aware of with Mbappe. I agree, this is what I am saying we just keep him and don't play him. Its the idea you can punish an employee with a contract because they won't leave that people seem to thing will work that is the issue. You can not treat people differently because they are sticking to their contract, that is definitely a potential employment law suit.We don't need to banish him though, we just need to keep playing him as much as we have. Mbappe is actually useful addition to the squad. Maguire is not. There’s no base for him to complain if he’s not registered unless it’s written in his contract.People saying he should be banished, etc, you cant really do that as PSG became aware of with Mbappe. Actually it is. Ten Hag is handling it superbly, Harry needs to improve his standards all the way. Don’t see him getting much game time unless we have a major injury list. He can sit and rot on the bench when he’s selected for it and enjoy his big wage.People saying he should be banished, etc, you cant really do that as PSG became aware of with Mbappe. Oh yes, sorry, I wasn't disagreeing. Was highlighting the futility of the calls for banishment.I agree, this is what I am saying we just keep him and don't play him. Voldermort?Wow.. that would be brutal.. considering we registered you know who..
Nah I don't think so. He's probably going to start 10-15 games for us, and come on in 15-20 more. He will still get plenty of time as we don't have that much depth at the back.If he doesn’t push to leave then he’s in for a truly horrendous twelve months.
I think Ole was a terrible manager but struggle to believe he'd have been stupid enough to say this.“In 2019 I was very good in England. I was playing in the Europa League but I was very angry with the coach because he was putting Maguire in the team instead of me. Thank God they have taken him out now and Licha [Lisandro] Martinez is playing. One day I went to Solskjaer's office to tell him to let me leave for another club or put me in the starting line-up. I said it was wrong that I wasn't playing. But he told me that Maguire had to play regardless because they had paid so much money for him. He was making huge mistakes every week already and I told Solskjaer: ‘Son of a b*tch, let me play because this guy is making huge mistakes every week’.”

"The club should avoid favouring English players and give everyone a chance...they should encourage competition in the dressing room, not just look out for some. I’ve always had the feeling that the national player was prioritised. That doesn’t happen at Chelsea or other big Premier League clubs. Some people take it for granted that they are going to start, and that weakens the team."

Well ofcourse there isnt. Saudi clubs want positive attention to their league, they arent going to sign the biggest meme in world football to play in their league.Says it all that there’s not even a shred of interest from Saudi clubs
Thats part of why it's so surprising. They're obviously chasing headline signings and social media engagement so you'd think England regular and biggest meme in football would be attractive to them.Well ofcourse there isnt. Saudi clubs want positive attention to their league, they arent going to sign the biggest meme in world football to play in their league.
Indeed, I would even take every day Bailly (as long as he stays fit) over Maguire but he seems to be knocking on the door to get out. ETH is doing it on a quite professional way giving Harry the "chance" but on the same side saying "if he's not ready, he must leave". It really would be the best way for all sides if he decides to leave for another club, has a good impact there, contribute to this personal stats and have a secured starting spot for the European Championship 2024. If this is not worth for him from the sporting aspect, then he prefers the Bale way to stay at the club, rot on the bench and earns 200k per week, which will definitely cause some instability within the club and the fans base.Taking all of the money and transfer situation out of his, the simple matter is that he is very low in the pecking order. He lost his position to a fecking left back last year. Varane, Martinez, Lindelof, and now Shaw are comfortably all ahead of him. If we just see it in those simple terms, he would have to be very fortunate in terms of players picking up injuries or going through a tremendous loss of form before he is thrown in.
I worry that ETH will want him to undergo some kind of redemption arc and will throw him in to more games. He just isn't the right calibre of player we need going forward. We've moved on. I also can't see him raising his skill level to justify a place in the starting 11.
The Glazers, Woodward and the whole background has caused a lot of problems still remaining years after. It will take time until we get rid of all these old problems and start from scratch. Currently, we are on a great way and just need to keep this momentum, hence I hope we manage to sell the mentioned players and put quality competition in order to get back to the very top.I was right in my previous posts about him. Only cares about the money. Traces of narcissism, snobbism and delusions of grandeur.
Based on his hunger for money, i was hoping maybe Saudis will come to the rescue, but alas. He is a meme, should raise the viewership/profile of the Saudi league if they were to get him. Maybe he doesn't fancy himself and his family living in a theocratic dictatorship.
I don't blame him that much. Harry is just a symptom of a much more sinister, foul disease - Glazers, Woodward, catastrophic scouting, lack of competent Director of Football...
No this is a person that has no ambition and is content to ride the bench instead of losing 80k a week because he knows even if he doesn't play his place in the national team isn't in jeopardy as Southgate has shown. This isn't him staying to fight for a place because he's already been told his place which is 5th choice CB when Malacia is fit because ETH would rather play Shaw at CB than Maguire.I've somewhat changed my position on Maguire after these last few weeks. For one, I'm happy he's willing to stay and fight. Yes, he's not worth his wages, yes, he's been disastrous for us - but if he puts his head down, is willing to work and resurrect his career, we as United fans should back him up and support him rather than bite behind his back. This is not the Maguire of two years ago who was egotistical and conceited. This is a man willing to acknowledge he is lacking something & willing to improve on it. I hope he succeeds.
Some people talk better with fire extinguishers than with words.“In 2019 I was very good in England. That deal still would have been held up by Maguire wanting a payoff. This is what really pisses me off about our transfer strategy this season.
Or we could be positive and McTominay could produce his Scottish performances in a Utd shirt and win crucial games for us as he has the ability but I suppose positively is rare on here.Could have sold Maguire and McT for 53m. Now we're stuck with both and they will likely lose value drastically next transfer window. Also can't do further transfers properly.
I wonder if Rojo really said that. Seems to be too direct and disregarded any form of relationship that he had with Maguire prior to that.“In 2019 I was very good in England. I was playing in the Europa League but I was very angry with the coach because he was putting Maguire in the team instead of me. He doesn't play the same role at United.Or we could be positive and McTominay could produce his Scottish performances in a Utd shirt and win crucial games for us as he has the ability but I suppose positively is rare on here.
I just wonder how much real power Ole had?I think Ole was a terrible manager but struggle to believe he'd have been stupid enough to say this.
As much as any of our managers?I just wonder how much real power Ole had?
He has the ability and that is the main thing for a squad player so Erik has that to use as he chooses. He doesn't play the same role at United.
