Yeah, totally agree @kouroux - I know a lot of people were saying that he couldn't play anyway, it's a free world and doesn't need permission to play a video game and so on but it's that appearance of treating the club with contempt that makes it look bad, at least in my opinion. Nope, I don't believe he does, simply because if he was ill with something a psychiatrist or psychologist formally diagnosed, he would be classed as unfit due to illness and there would be some kind of treatment programme and medication, counselling or both and some kind of phased return would be planned. I have to guess but for someone who cost £70mm+ and earns £300k gross/week, the club would be doing anything and everything possible to keep him as fit and healthy as possible.

There's no debate here - I don't care for the "he said, she said" nonsense, the manager has decided Sancho's levels of effort weren't up to scratch and he can choose to manage that however he sees fit. Lest we forget, he's been really patient with, and supportive of, Sancho throughout last season.

I remember when we had just signed Sancho, or were at least in the process of signing him, Rashford did an interview where he referred to him as a "new generation player". This is likely not quite what he had in mind, but he wasn't far wrong.
