There are of course deeper issues at the club and I don’t believe any manager could come in and really get us to challenge, but it’s completely obvious this clown is out of his depth. We’ve seen teams with far worse resources coached far better than this.

We're playing a lot better because of those changes. Amrabat has done far better than Casemiro so far.
Amrabat is a much better midfielder than Casemiro at this stage and AWB is a much better right back than Dalot.

But the system is still suicidal and totally moronic.

He’s in trouble. We’ll go out of Europe as well in the coming weeks.

We were 2nd best in most of them too.
All of them bar that Palace game in League Cup. Wolves, Sheffield, Brentford, Coppenhagen and Burnley all could have got points easily from us. Just lacked enough quality.

Nah, because the glazers will just hire yet another inadequate manager and we’ll be back at square one.
I think he will get sacked, probably not that soon as the fixture list is quite kind in the coming weeks but from that City game onwards it’ll get messy again and he’ll be gone by December.
Heading towards the end now. Actually don’t think he makes the Liverpool game looking at our games. Everton and Newcastle away before then plus Champions League games. Think he gets the chop after Newcastle away on the 9th.

We never learn regarding signing players.

Recruitment has always been our Achilles heal.

I do not see how ETH survives this now. He cannot stimulate the players now, they’ve given up. We need new impetus.

Shame as I like Erik but I don’t see him being able to turn this around.

If there's a fanbase in football that deserves this, it's ours.
getting gaslit every day for rightly asking if the manager is up to scratch - something something this feels like fergie in 86, something something look at klopp, something something Arteta

Probably time for him to go but I do find some of the vitriol OTT. 'Clown' etc. He's always come across as a pretty good guy and I definitely don't think he's worthy of ridicule.

I genuinely thought we'd play a meh game here and either win or lose narrowly.

This is just a fecking omnishambles and the guy is cooked. Finito. Arrivederci.

I'm really at a loss as of what is the best course of action. We've been here before. Is it correct to keep sacking as soon as things turn bad. I have always, even last year, been unimpressed by his coaching, felt it was too much like Ole ball but hoped once he got his players in we would see a difference. Unfortunately his buys have been failures so far.
I'd like to think enough is being done in the background that we hold tight on this. Maybe having a bad year like this and keeping the manager can be good and show a few of these players that downing tools is no longer an option. I still standby that ETH should be removed from transfers and the hiring of a proper DOF be sought immediately and revisit next year. There must be a deeper meaning that this club is falling apart. The only club in a similar situation is Chelsea and the reason we both struggle becomes a bit more obvious, get football men in the club and get rid of Arnold and Fletcher, they do not deserve to be in such positions.

I disagree. Best away fans in the league, too many tourists at Old Trafford.
It's far from the best. Its a fanbase that just doesn't "get" football. This could be anything but football, and our fans would be none the wiser.

This squad is diabolical. How has this happened?
Atrocious managers, coaches, scouts, directors, CEO's, and owners. Years and years of mismanagement from top to bottom by a multitude of incompetent twats basically

Why though? If he’s that bad how were we ok last season? We weren’t amazing but we outplayed most teams we played outside of the ones better than us. How can the drop off be this bad?
Because he has spent £400 million pounds to make us look like the worst team in the league....

What do we actually work on in training? I swear I’ve seen this football for over ten years now. Hopeball and no clue.

We've been bad for years, but ETH took it to another level. We've been humiliated by newcastle, liverpool, arsenal, brighton brentford and city.

He'll stay until Ratcliffe and them take over. Or he should. The whole club is on pause til then. No point in sacking before then as we shouldn't hire somebody else until the new people come in. 0 faith on current ownership to make that change correctly.

Holding 0-3 back to back at Old Trafford. When was the last time that happened?

I said after the Copenhagen game we'll lose against any half decent side and we only won these 3 games in row because they were all mediocre to bad teams that lacked quality to get one over us. All these 3 games were pretty even ones and we just barely got through. We then went on to get such hammering as usual in the next 2 games at decent sides and at home.

United is so predictable

Shocking, bottom of the barrel stuff... Lost the players, they aren't responding (however you want to call it), but he is done.
