Usually defend him but appalling tonight. So far it's only the CL that triggers something in him.

50 million, it could have got any decent goal keeper, but Ten Hag wanted him. These errors were there at Ajax as well

What a ball playing keeper. He passed us out of the CL.

At this point just bench and play the number 2. Can't be worse surely?

I'm not even confident in him when the ball is slowly trickling towards him and he just has to catch it.

Said it before, not a United player. Single handedly knocked us out of the competition. Is there any other keeper who made so many mistakes/blunders in one CL campaign. Disaster.

That's enough Onana for me. Taibi was booted out the club for less. If he was at City, Pep would throw him out next window.
Pep played Bravo for a whole season because of his passing, instead of keeping Joe Hart. Thats a terrible example

A bit of karma coming back to haunt United, given how we mistreated De Gea.

Fine, here we are. Who’s out there we could reasonably find in January to replace Onana?

There’s a mistake in him all the time. No confidence in him what so ever

We let De Gea walk and signed him for just under 50 mill. Ten Haag deserves to be sacked just for this.

I get the feeling we'll be in this constant flux with him of good performances followed by genuine howlers.

We could feasibly be qualified already without his mistakes. We don't need a maverick in goal, we just need a GK who does the basics well and is good with the ball.

How many quantifiable mistakes has he made now leading to goals?

it’s got to be double figures now surely?

I think we somehow managed to find a goalkeeper with concentration as bad as David De Gea in his last 3 or 4 seasons. Yes hes certainly better on the ball but yes we certainly still have the same issue defensively

Shouldn't be starting again. You can't carry a goal keeper waiting for him to find form. Other players maybe, a GK, no. Nobody at the top level does this amount of mistakes in that short period of time. We need to move on from him quick.

Should be benched, I can't see Heaton or Bayindir been worse than this. We sent De Gea away for a player twice as error prone and with no ability to save shots.

We need to cut our losses on this guy. Nothing can change his abysmal goalkeeping technique and his ball playing ability is not transformative for us to justify such a big weakness. He has almost single handedly taken us out of the champions league.

DDG was shockingly awful. Why can't people comprehend another scenario, in which we sign one of the other 100,000 registered FIFA goalkeepers, rather than keep banging on about a fella who was rightfully let go and is STILL without a club in December

Fabian Barthez's successor has been found. You simply can't know what this guy's going to give you. At Goodison Park he was cool as you like but tonight...

Was his handling always this bad? Galatasaray sensed he was looking wobbly and were just trying pot shots at every opportunity.

Sick of hearing how he's been doing great lately. He hasn't. He's been doing the bare minimum that a keeper should be. Not good enough.

Absolute joke of a goalkeeper.

May as well just start throwing them in himself!

Couple of good games in the league, then this absolute debacle.

He has managed to almost certainly eliminate us from the champions league all by himself over the course of 5 games.

More words fail me!

I'm prepared to say cut our losses and find a new keeper in January. This team can't survive a shaky, disaster-prone goalkeeper. Even setting aside his blunders that directly cost goals, he's also decidedly terrible at the one thing that was supposed to be his strength: footwork and distribution. An all-encompassing mistransfer, and we can afford to lose the money more than we can afford the instability of having a poor keeper.

How exactly did we end up spending €50m on a keeper who recently sat out for a year due to a drug ban? How the feck did that happen?

Was looking so much better recently and then goes and does that. The level of his errors is concerning. It’s never really a slight one. It’s like something you’d see someone do who has never played in goal in their life.

We've got to give Bayindir a chance. This guy has basically killed off our champions league qualification chances. His brain just shuts down whenever he has a slightly tricky shot to deal with. Hit them at him with pace and he'll make good saves, anything else and we basically scoops the ball into his own net.

Around 45m for this guy. Not the best decision the club has ever made.
He is of decent size but it feels he makes himself small in a lot of situations.

Highly unlikely to ever find a player as single handedly responsible for his team getting knocked out of europe, absolute shite
