    Pretty much our standard setup.

Not really. It took us in top form last season to beat them.

The other occasions in PL, even when we had a mistake free in defense, we failed to beat them at home, and got beaten at their ground.

Unless there is new injury, their staring XI from PSG is plenty of strong. We're not exactly strong ourselves. Don't let Galatasaray performance deceive us. We saw in the League Cup game that Newcastle weakened team is arguably better than Galatasaray.

Newcastle are a weakened side and, despite our CL form, we've begun to put together decent performances.

There's been much whingeing about our midfield play, but what's butchered us this season is our poor finishing and our poor keeper play. I'm asking a lot, but if our finishing and keeping is at an acceptable level I'm very confident we can beat Newcastle. But I will grant you that Newcastle has reason to be confident against us, but they really do need us to be poor, as we have been for most of the season, for them to beat us.

Please be solid defensively and compact off the ball, please.

Newcastle's weakened side is not that weakened from when they beat Arsenal a few rounds ago, nor the team they fielded to beat us in League Cup game. They lack of bench option, but their starting XI is still very strong.

Their worst state was against Bournemouth where they lost players from already weakened starting XI mid game.

Their domestic home record has been ridiculously good for the past 18 months or so, as other posters had point out. Barely any teams have beaten them. They can force goals without our mistake. Our scoring form is untested against an actual tough opposition.

Our bunch won't be able to hack the atmosphere, guaranteed. Spineless wimps with the exception of Kobbie.

They done us like a kipper earlier on this season 3-0. I hope the players remember that

Starting Dalot could be a mistake. When we’ve got an actual LB on the bench

Good bench.. Hojlund lack of PL goals is showing in ETH selection.

It's kind of puzzling - the guy has spend £370 million on transfers - and not a single outfield-player is a Ten Hag-signing

Casemiro, Mount, Hojlund, Eriksen, Malacia, Evans and Martinez all injured and Amrabat, Reguilon and Antony not good enough to start

Best of luck to Manioo because he is going to get absoultely destroyed by Newcastle's midfield. McTominay is going to offer zero support.

I wonder what percentage of fit Hojlund has been throughout this season. ETH desperately needs him but can't play him for 90 minutes and he still gets picked for Denmark.

Hopefully he can play the whole of the 2nd half.
