Breach of sustainability?? Were they not green enough with their carbon emissions?
They have something in common with a lot of Man Utd's players thenYour monthly reminder that the rules as they exist are rubbish and should be replaced
Stadium loans shouldn't be an issue though as Infrastructure spend doesn't count towards breaching the rules?Apparently our arguments basically boil down to stadium loans. We have notoriously cut down our spending and have sold quite high in recent years (Richy, Gordon, Iwobi etc.)
It's ok I'm sure he'll be able to get out of his contract with a healthy pay off to boot.A 10 point deduction would relegate Forest which would be really unfair on Nuno Espirito Santo considering he has done nothing wrong.
How do you quickly deal with over 100 charges that the club deny, opposed to two which the club confirm and accept?Glad to see they have dealt with City’s so quickly…..

So says the telegraph...But both clubs have equipped themselves for the prospect, preparing mitigation that they believe should dismiss charges if they are referred to an independent commission later today.
Both clubs maintain they are within limits but, in Everton’s case, it would be stadium costs rather than player trading that would be the root cause of any potential overspend, as it had been the period in which the club has already been punished.
that was only a minor indiscretion. How many points did they fine them for paying £50m for Sigurdsson?
It's all a mess that should really be sorted in house and not during a fecking season. The club statement is implying that it is 21-22 accounts again causing the problem and not 22-23, so not a NEW breach, merely the previous one still being in the same 3-year cycle. Being charged twice and potentially punished twice for the same offence, whilst having an appeal on the original charge.
How can that be correct?
Anything to keep kicking the can down the road, procrastinate and allow City to win more silverware and avoid disturbing the oil barons. It’s pathetic. They charged Everton twice in months, yet they can't even charge City in years?
The feck are you talking about? How quick do you think it is to prove over 100 charges when a club refuse to accept them? A weekend? A bank holiday weekend maybe?Anything to keep kicking the can down the road, procrastinate and allow City to win more silverware and avoid disturbing the oil barons. It’s pathetic.
Meanwhile, “smaller” clubs are charged and punished overnight.
I'm quite certain that he knew all about this when he signed up & probably had a pay out clause inserted.. He will do just fine. !!A 10 point deduction would relegate Forest which would be really unfair on Nuno Espirito Santo considering he has done nothing wrong.

They charged City years ago. They charged Everton twice in months, yet they can't even charge City in years?
OMG that is brilliant! Bravo sirthat was only a minor indiscretion.
Interest payments on the loans is the issue and they can’t be capitalised so doubt they class as infrastructureStadium loans shouldn't be an issue though as Infrastructure spend doesn't count towards breaching the rules?
Agreed. About time the likes of Everton and Forest get what's coming, they've been ruining football for too long.Cheats should never prosper.
This is a great idea!I think it’s only fair that the points deducted from Everton and Forest get given to City - the model of sustainability and integrity in professional sport….
I can only assume City haven’t broken any FFP in the last 3 seasons?
Also Chelsea have only gone loopy in the last 18 months so their comeuppance isn’t due yet?
You have to draw a line in the sand somewhere, if Everton are the guinea pigs then it’s bad luck.
But I hope the second round of charges is a fine or only a few points, and no one gets relegated for FFP reasons.
That guy definitely lives under a desk out the back of the studio. Poor fella. Can someone explain me the FFP rules like i am a ten year old?
*suddenly Sky Kaveh appears and start to explain slowly*
It’s been a year, not like they charged them a week ago, that’s after a 4 year investigation. How do you quickly deal with over 100 charges that the club deny, opposed to two which the club confirm and accept?
Everytime he appears i turn off mate, i can`t dealThat guy definitely lives under a desk out the back of the studio. Poor fella.
Wait a minute, are you trying to say Kaveh whathischops isn't the definitive voice on all happenings in the modern football landscape? That he might just be talking shite and making half of this stuff up?!Everytime he appears i turn off mate, i can`t deal
I did warn you about this.So in order to comply with “Profit and Sustainability“ rules we should have accepted a £30M bid in June for Johnson and not the £47m we got in August!! Irony just doesn’t cover it.
