Football isn’t black and white like that though. I mean, the biggest club in the world Real Madrid tried for Wenger a couple of times but he didn’t go.

A manager in a job will weigh everything up before deciding if he wants to leave a job to go to another club, and just because 1 club is traditionally bigger, doesn’t mean that move would defo happen. I mean it’s not like Barca have manage to lure the biggest names in management to manage them in the recent past.

Anyway, seems it’s fake news, from the horses mouth.

His quote could just mean he hasn't been approached by them. The hurt part might be referring to that

Anyway, as for the bolded, I've never said that (I explicitely caveated their pull part), but we'll disagree on this and it's fine.

Kind of an interesting time to be Arteta, Klopp leaving weakens Pool and City, we hope, are getting the sink chucked at them for the 115 breaches. He's got full board backing, they spend big for him - he's got a good seat and Barca are financially in trouble...can't see it unless he doesn't think this group of players has it in them to win things.

It's also why INEOS need to get us sorted asap

People moan about Klopp's touchline shenanigans, but I will take that over this twat's behavior all day. With his team leading today and 10 odd minutes to play, Gomez was taking too long on a Liverpool throw and this cnut was arm waving at the official for time wasting

He's rattled the Carragher and the whole Liverpool contingent. I'd say job well done.

I despise him. Most childish and embarrassing manager in the league. He's the main reason I wouldn't want to see Arsenal winning anything.

I'm glad he annoyed Carragher. Arteta is an embarrassment, his meltdown will be hilarious. Doubt it will be long to wait this year.

Was he this much of a cnut as a player? I only really remember him at Everton and he always seemed alright.

I think he's having to be (/choosing to be?) deliberately attention seeking as the manager in a way he didn't need to as a player. Having said that, being captain of Arsenal probably didn't hurt in cuntifying him.

I really dislike him but when he’s against the gegenmoaner he can do as he wants.

Remember when Klopp complained after dropping points against us that United had too many injuries so they didn’t know what team we would put out. That genuinely happened.

Was he like this as a player? He seemed so bland.
Also while assistant under Pep for us he seemed totally emotionless and cold, which I thought complemented the intensity of Pep well.

But since becoming Arsenal coach he has become a lunatic

Nope, he's clearly been tainted by the success of being in a title race. I've also never seen him sprint that fast.

This fraud is one of the most dislikeable figure in world football. However credit where it's due, thought he outclassed Klopp tactically today.

I completely agree on the dislikeable part, but his getting the better of Klopp doesn't ring true with him being a 'fraud'. Arteta did get lucky with Salah and Nunez being out though.

Szoboszlai missing and Joe Gomez on left back as well. It was quite a weakened Liverpool side, to be fair, but Arsenal did deserve the win.

Arsenal had Timber, Tomiyasu, Partey and Jesus out. We were playing the much maligned Chelsea signings of Jorginho at left 8 and Havertz up front.

Was Nunez being benched not Klopp's decision though? He didnt start either of the pervious games vs us either, he seems to like bringing him on 2nd half vs games against us.

Edit: Just checked last season as well, he started 1 out the 2 games, so in 5 games vs Arsenal he's only started once.

Yes, it seemed to be a tactical decision, maybe also based on Nunez playing 90 minutes on Wednesday.

Ah ok, I'd assumed he was injured- I only saw the first half and missed the build up.

You okay, bruv?
Arsenal won a game, so probably not.

I have to admit I'd find Arteta quite distasteful if I were a rival fan but a part of me does quite like seeing how much he offends people

Exactly, seeing so many people seething about every step he takes on the touchline is pretty funny.
As much of a game of clowns yesterday was, Liverpool still had only one shot on target with Gakpo/Jota/Nunez/Diaz up front. I don't think Arteta will get us over the line this year either without a 20+ goals striker and 115 FC allowed to cheat.

So it's passion when Klopp runs on to the field to celebrate a win but when Arteta celebrates on the touchline its bad sportsmanship according to the scouse media.
