There are more than just two goalkeepers in professional footballI genuinely think its time to bring De Gea back.
Aye but De Gea is free and available now. Sell Onana to the first buyer in the summer and then we get another keeper and try again. There are more than just two goalkeepers in professional football
I think the window for free agent signings has goneAye but De Gea is free and available now. Sell Onana to the first buyer in the summer and then we get another keeper and try again.
But we won't be asking ETH for his opinion again.
I won’t blame him for his distribution. That’s squarely on the manager. Defence can’t handle playing out from the back so we bought a keeper that’s bad at everything except playing out from the back.I know he has faced an abnormal amount of shots this season but I just don't see a good keeper in him. I don't know if it's his tehcnique or physique but he consistently fails to reach very reachable shots. His ability on the ball is also very overrated IMO. Most of the time, he just launches hopeless passes to the opposing team (although our attackers might be at fault here as well).
FML. Onana simply isn't the keeper you want if the gameplan is based on conceding 20 shots a game.I think the window for free agent signings has gone
feck I finally found one! Someone who actually wants DDG back cause I thought that was an imaginary person Onana's defenders dreamed up in their head.I genuinely think its time to bring De Gea back.
Middle of the goal.I literally burst out laughing when they showed the replay of the fourth goal.
Taken to praying.Pretending his boot got stuck in the ground. Absolute clown.
Add to this, he clearly evokes more risk than reliability, which is the kiss of death for most keepers. We're absolutely terrible so he's made a lot of saves, including a few really good reaction stops, but he regularly lets in goals that a top goalkeeper wouldn't let happen (maybe an aberration once a season). He's just not an elite goalkeeper and we haven't even really seen the benefits of his ability on the ball which was his main selling point, albeit it's less useful anyway when offset by dodgy shot-stopping and an inability to command his area.
He can’t be so crap to never deserve minutes in the Cups.. Maybe the manager making these choices is crap.Bayinder must be really crap in training for Onana to keep his place, and Heaton has to be jut as bad
Thankfully we balanced it out by spending £55million on Mason Mount...Even if we thought it was a good idea to bring Dave back it's a bad idea. He's done with football and the sooner we get over it, the better.
But looking back at last June when the decision was made to shitcan Dave and then spend 47m on Onana, it wasn't the greatest decision in the annals of transfer business.
If we look at Amad/Antony situation, maybe the manager has his favorites ?Bayinder must be really crap in training for Onana to keep his place, and Heaton has to be jut as bad
Nah, that kid saved the shot.
I went to match in Munich and I have to say he didn't strike me with any confidence during pre -match training. I can see why we haven't given him any outing yet.Bayinder must be really crap in training for Onana to keep his place, and Heaton has to be jut as bad
