56% - Arsenal's win ratio when Robin van Persie doesn't start in the Premier League this season and 78% when he starts. Kneed.

It was pretty obvious he wasn't going to be fit in a week - I was more worried about him being out for the rest of the Pl programme.
I guess it isn't too long so he will have an influence in Arsenals bid for a trophy. You think you guys can pull it off at Nou camp? If you can do what you did last year, score first and try and hold on to some sort of lead then maybe otherwise I think it's going to be very difficult.

If vP and Fabs are out for any of the really big games or not match fit then I'm afraid the game is up imo. We might escape v the lower sides ( although thats not a guarantee as we saw on Sunday) but we wont in the bigger games %100.

fking bad bad news

Fraid without vP in big games, we're toothless add Fabregas to that and our squad gets thinner by the second

Chelsea gave us a foot in the door tonight but I can see us not taking advantage and dropping a couple against Sunderland

Hope not we'll never get a better chance to get right into your pants and make you have to win

Fking mad season

You're not going to drop anything against Sunderland, there are other fixtures coming up for you where you will find it tough.

Technical Difficulties...
We should be able to beat Sunderland at home and WBA away without RvP. Barca away was always going to be difficult & I'm not really that bothered about the Fa Cup.

Not bothered about the FA cup? Nice attitude there, no wonder you lot have a big gap in that stadium border/banner thing at the new ground. Personally with how I feel tonight I hope Barcelona own you even more!!!! :D

You got it in there nice and early Peter. Good man.

We can expect not to see you for two days after you lose in the final again then eh? :)

We're in the final of the FA cup? We must have fecked you over at least.
Fair enough. My bad.

I obviously should have said "in the next round"...

Seriously though, I can't understand why you can say you don't care about the Carling Cup and FA Cup.

Your lads have won nothing now for a long, long time (by your standards). Surely a trophy of any description will be a step in the right direction?

I genuinely believe that winning something leads to winning other things. The players get a taste for it and want more.

Who, in the Arsenal squad, has a taste for winning things at Club level?

I don't think so. For us there are two trophies worth winning the PL and the CL ( and I don't subscribe to the theory that winning a little pot helps you win a big pot). The league cup was obviously painful on the day since we went to fecking Wemberlee and fecked it up but in the bigger scheme of things it'll soon be forgotten.

In the bigger scheme of things, so will this Arsenal team...

Funny. You were absolutely over the moon on here in 2005 when you robbed us.

I expect us to get past Orient tonight meaning we play you mancs at OT on March 12th. I hope to be there but expect us to lose given that we play Barca away midweek getting back early hours Wednesday morning and United have a free week after Sunday (this staggering of last 16 CL matches seems a bit daft to me).

I suspect we will come unstuck at Camp Nou which means we are likely to be out of both the FA cup and the CL within a space of 4 days.

Our best hope of a trophy is the Premiership and last night's result was a boost for us, though if we fail to beat Sunderland this weekend, it could all be for nought.

You'll have a free midweek before our league game in May, so everything's all right ;)

There's a fair chance Arse could win the League, and perhaps an above average chance on the cup - nothing I've seen from us recently suggests we'll find it easy against them in the quarter finals, even if we are at home. European Cup - minimal chance. Although if they manage to shut out Barcelona I'll massively revise that opinion

Arsenal showing once again what a bunch of bottlers they are. They had the chance to really apply some pressure ahead of tomorrow's game and failed.
