People who think we will change formation are just being gullible. Van gaal wont change a thing.

People who think carrick will play are wrong again as manutd face book page says his return will be in an u 21 game on friday and he will be ready for city. He is fit but not match fit.

We might see herrera on the bench and Perreira/fletcher/fellaini starting. It all depends who has played well in training. Same with jones/rojo/evans/smalling etc.
You're right, we might see one of them playing in Herrera's place, with an advantage for Felli because he's more "mobile" and use to a number 8 spot than Fletch.

It will be interesting to see who will play as CB.

I would like to see Smalling and Jones playing in order to have a game before Chelsea next week.

Don't you know that LVG avoids using a centre back pairing who prefer using the same foot? A left footed CB will play LCB and a right footed CB will play RCB

simple as this win and good chance for the top 4, however lose and we can forget about that. (and just hope for 5-7)

We really have go to win this game, there is no excuses any more. This is when you START to sort the men from the boys and if we have any intentions of finishing in the top4 its games like this we need to show the world that they have to worry about us and not how we should be trying to cope with them.
Of course i agree its going to be tough. Any team is for us currently. Not that we can't overcome them, more a case of having the belief and confidence to go and tear them asunder and get the job done. If our attitude is right and we go and out-work and out-fight them in all the match ups. I feel our greater skill will get us the few extra goals to get the three points.

We are in good shape but its still fragile. A win tonight, our third in a row will surely go along way to getting the individual belief back/increased in the squad, further increase the understanding in how the players gel and swell the positivity around the club as a whole. For me THIS is a more important game than the weekends.
We could go out next week and out play Chelsea and could still lose 1-0, they have the quality to punish any side, there'd be no shame in that. But to lose to WBA would be much more damaging. You can still win the league by losing the odd top 4 match up. We've done it but its because we didn't slip up against the so called smaller/lesser clubs while others under estimated them.

Be under no illusions i am hopeful for all 6 points, of course I am. Its just i am one of the few who, while being impressed by them, i don't believe Chelsea are anywhere near unbeatable and that game and motivation for it, takes care of its self. WBA need to be boxed off first, hopefully in a dominant confident manor.

Really can't see us changing formation, I reckon it'll be the usual team, dependent on injuries and fitness.

We lose this then we lose to chelsea on Sunday aswell also to City after. Sounds knee jerk but we need momentum and winning mentality. None of this hit and hope. We have to start smashing some teams if we want to stay up around the top 4. West Brom will set up to win, most teams do against us these days different to when they set up against Chelsea/City etc hoping they can nick some points.
We need the fear factor back and it's got to start now

People not including Herrera? Thought he said he was available? I hope Januzaj starts.

What a completely bonkers opinion. Have you not been watching the premier league this season? Putting so much weight into getting a result against West Brom, how bizarre.
I said top four, not winning the title.

Alternatively we could win all 3 games. :)

Yep you're right, no chance at all for 4th place if we don't win this.
This, IMO, is utter nonsense. After this game we can go on and beat chelsea or even Man city, nothing is guaranteed and we have enough quality to hurt any side.

After the comments from Januzaj's agent (and assuming Herrera will start), my best guess is:

    De Gea
    Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera Di Maria
    Januzaj
    Falcao Van Persie
Waiting over two weeks for a match is so frustrating, especially with the excitement levels increasing with each match I see this new team of ours play.

Why are you picking Linda when David's on form for weeks? There's not even a comparison between them anymore, De Gea is by far the better goalie.

My take on today's game, I think it will a great game to watch, lots of possession for us but it will be an uphill battle to break their back line but we'll see eventually cut them open with the adventurousness of our forward more especially Falcao who I think will be too much for them tonight. It's going to be a win although goals could be seen in the later stages of the match as we're going to try and keep the tempo for the whole 90mnts. Just 2 cents. ;)

4-1 I'm thinking. Falcao's going to run riot with Di Maria tearing up the wings.
    I mean't 1-0 to West Brom.

I'm still stuck in the "one step forward, 2 steps back" rut from last season.

The club/team needs a game where we absolutely destroy someone, especially with the run we have coming up

    * Not including QPR. They aren't a proper team. Rubbish they are, rubbish! *
