  1. Top 10 Most Talented Players ever?

A Manchester United forum and nobody's mentioned George Best. :houllier:
  2. Manchester United vs Liverpool

Wow. What a game! Who said big clubs don't take the FA Cup seriously any more? Two great teams giving their all, the best of English football. Congratulations to United, worthy winners.
  3. Is the European super league back? | United Statement: We remain committed to UEFA

Never say never but I just don't see this ESL getting off the ground, not in the format as I understand it. Whilst we've already heard from some of the bigger European teams, it would be interesting to hear from what I'd call the second tier teams, those who regularly qualify for the CL but...
  4. Sir Bobby was one of only 9 to win the World Cup, European Cup & Ballon d'Or, and was the first to do it!

Legend is a word used far too easily these days but it fits Sir Bobby Charlton perfectly. On the pitch he had everything, he could drive the team forward, he could pass, he could score goals. A Robson, a Scholes and a Rooney in one player, what he'd be worth in today's market doesn't bear...
  5. Sir Bobby Charlton has died

Really really sad news. For a club that's had some of the greatest players that have ever played the game play for you, he was for me, the best of the best. RIP Sir Bobby, a great player and a true gentleman.
  6. Goalkeepers preceding Onana (in my lifetime)

    Preceding not proceeding.
  7. The Former United Youth/Reserves Thread

Di'Shon spoke really well when he was interviewed after signing, obviously he realises how massive we are, but he also talked a lot about how he was looking to improve and learn and what he wanted to bring to the team. It's available on YouTube if you're interested but he seems a really nice...
  8. The Former United Youth/Reserves Thread

Di'Shon was an unused substitute in our two league games but made his debut midweek in the EFL Cup against Stockport, along with the goalkeeper and two other defenders though so a bit hard to tell what he's going to be like. But out of all of them Di'Shon looked the most promising...
  9. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

Well played England and another well taken goal. No reason they shouldn't go all the way now, Spain look decent but haven't seen anything in the three other teams to fear for England. They've faced all sorts so far in this tournament and come through, teams that liked to come forward, teams...
  10. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

Enjoyed that half. England are missing James, just needed that bit of quality and inventiveness in the final third, Russo's been pretty anonymous all game. Long way to go in this and wouldn't be surprised if it goes all the way to penalties again.
  11. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

The first time ever in my life that I've wanted France to win at anything. And they go and bloomin well lose.
  12. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

This game has penalties written all over it. Famous last words, but neither team look like they could score in a month of Sundays. Certainly nothing for England to fear. So watch us go and lose to Colombia. But the team most enjoying this will be Spain, they'll have their feet up this weekend...
  13. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

It always is effective, that's why teams do it. Just not very attractive for the neutrals. It's been a poor game.
  14. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

As in the type of football played by pub teams ie lacking in finesse and relying on physical strength.
  15. WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

Joke decision. What's she supposed to do? It's one thing having your arms behind your back when trying to block a shot but defenders doing it at a corner when the attackers are pushing and shoving and jumping all over you is ridiculous. Japan had looked so good in the tournament up to now but...
