  1. Cody Gakpo | OFFICIAL: Liverpool player

I'll give it a watch, his numbers are fantastic so far this season but opinion on him from those I know who have watched him is largely split.
  2. Ralf Rangnick | ex-interim manager | does anyone rate him?

Agreed, I think his mandate as manager is top 4. Anything better is great, but it's his work as a director that I'm most interested in. Once as a club you have a clear philosophy, direction, method of talent ID (players who fit the aforementioned philosophy) all you need is a manager to come in...
  3. Football & Sports Betting Thread 2019/2020

It's been a while since I have posted on the site let alone in here. How is it going lads? Not sure if any of the guys who were in here when I last was (Got to be two years at least) are still here. Anyway, to business. Looking to do an acca today Chelsea (Home v Wolves) 1.52 Real Madrid (Away...
  4. Pogba's transformation under Jose

I don't think he has a good all round game on the pitch. He has good all round attributes: Tall, strong, mobile, technical but he has gaps in how he applies those talent on the pitch. But he is an attack minded player, definitely an 8 (or a 6 in the right system). I would never want him to be...
  5. Pogba's transformation under Jose

He is not a controller. We need to buy somebody who can control the midfield and let him do what he does best. Chance creation, unlocking defensive, shooting and scoring from range. He can be very good defensively but he often looses his assignment, one caveat of hm getting this free role would...
  6. What makes Herrera good?

I think our fans are doing that thing were they overrate a player who is playing well. We can do better than Herrera in midfield. In fact we need to if we want to be a top side. He won't get into any of Europe's best sides for good reason. He's a solid player he just doesn't do anything very...
  7. What makes Herrera good?

6.5-7/10 player, he's component in a lot of areas without being anything special. He doesn't specialise in anything. His position in midfield is the next one we should be looking to upgrade if we want to go up a level as a team.
  8. Did Wayne Rooney fulfil his potential?

No. He had the potential to be one of the 5-10 best players in the world, he never reached that level. He's had a fantastic career, especially on paper but watching it when was he world class? When was he peak? He never really pushed on as a player he became robotic, lost that flair in his game...
  9. What makes Herrera good?

He isn't very good, he's a solid 6.5 player. Does most things to a decent level but doesn't really excel in anything. He's got the work rate and intensity for the league though. He loves to get stuck in too. We are linked with Saul from Atletico, that would be a great upgrade.
  10. Paul Pogba | 2016/17 Performances

I would say a 6. Defensively did very well, things didn't work for him today going forward but he should have still grabbed a goal.
  11. Tottenham v Chelsea (what do we want?)

Don't want chelsea running away with the league, 2-3 bad results and they are back in among the rest of the teams and we also want to chase Spurs down so draw.
  12. The Unpopular Opinion thread. Post yours here.

Herrera is a 6.5-7/10, this is is a good as he gets. Saying that I've been very happy with his performances the season.
  13. The Unpopular Opinion thread. Post yours here.

Rashford hasn't got the technical skills of Martial, who also already had a man's body at 19. Rashford is clearly still growing, what he does have is a better brain and the type of aggressiveness you need in an attacker. He is still earning his trade but I think we have two top talents in our...
  14. Victor Lindelöf

Yeah I think it's Smalling too. I've always seen Jones as the superior talent. Just need him to have an injury free season and kick on from there. he's still 'only 24'
  15. Victor Lindelöf

From what I've seen he's a left sided cb and as good as Rojo has been I think he should be a back up for a club spring to the level we want to reach. I assume either Jones or Smalling will be leaving but there is no need for 5 international level cb's.
