    Our main transfer season has just started right after the Brenford's humiliation. Before that they were still playing around with FDJ hoping that he stays in the end and wouldn't have to spend any kind of big money this summer.

    That is which they are doing right now, playing him less than 30 mins each match. However, IIRC, Atletico is paying for Griezmann's salary so if they continue doing so they will end up paying for more than he can contribute for the rest of the season.

    If they qualify for UCL, which is still very likely. Haven't seen the fee for the buyout clause reported anywhere though.

    No its the norm for the club to leave out players that are in discussion of transferring away since they are not in the right mind to focus on the pitch. Brighton did the same with Cucurella iirc. Doesnt mean they will accept the bid in anyway.

    What do you mean unreliable? They swing every other way so they will 100% get it right in the end In honestly if FDJ becomes available I think we would still be favorite over Chelsea.

    While we dont know for sure that he wants to come or not, publicly saying he wants to leave would hurt his case of claiming the due wages. So unless the wages issue get resolved, there's no way that FDJ would ever say anything regarding the transfer. Its just a completely different problem...
