For what it's worth, I'm hoping this year's Liverpool won't be as good as last seasons with their injuries and defensive weaknesses. So we won't have to support City as much as we did last year.
Absolutely, but I don’t see that happening. The other title candidates aren’t any better either. Can you imagine the Spurs fans if they were to win it? They won’t, but still.

I must have a different video feed from you as he is making this DM position look easy. Struggiling physically? Was that when he took the forearm to the face?

Casually strolling about getting on the ball making himself available and keeping things ticking over.
No probably when one of West Hams midfielders outmuscled him like nothing and what happened multiple times against Liverpool. Casually strolling around and keeping things ticking over isnt the sign of a quality holding mid. That's what Jorginho did last season, or Blind that first year with Van Gaal, and its largely pointless. He's gotten caught on the ball about 4 times already in these 2 games and outmuscled another 3-4 times. He's a good player with potential, but no need to go overboard; he hasnt done anything yet and he definitely doesn't ooze class or something like that.

Watching the NBC stream, it will always sound weird to me football commentated with an American accent (talking about the guy with Dixon). Feels wrong

Jorginho was one of our best players towards the end of the season and was fantastic in the EL final against Arsenal. He struggled with the physicality of the league but grew into it.

Would've had quite a few assists as well if our strikers weren't complete and utter shite.
He was decent but still it was the same thing as now. Everyone was singing his praises in the early weeks for not doing anything special, and then criticizing the same performances later in the season.

People backing City from the first game this season :houllier:

At least let Liverpool have a sniff of the PL trophy before you start putting your Pep scarves on.

Do we support City or not? Liverpool win the title if City don't but my natural inclination in wanting them to lose every game has returned.

It's disgraceful how referees let this City side get away with so many blatant fouls, as for this match West Ham are going to find it very difficult to get back into it for sure.
