Wow literally none of the CB's can stay fit for 90 minutes.

The deadwood pile always needs attending too, but the sicknote pile this season has been arguable higher.

We need to keep him for next season, he has been our best defender this season. And we need two new starting centre backs in the summer, dont care what people think of Martinez
yeah i mean ideally we would def move on from lindelof and varane, bring in 2 starters at CB. Then maguire and martinez as main cover/rotation. Maguire prob still wont want to move on without payment and martinez needs to prove he can stay healthy.

We need two CB this summer and need to let go Lindelof and Varane. We can’t keep these injury prone CBs. I am also starting to get worried about Licha and his injuries aswell.

I thought Varane was bad for injuries. This lad might be worse. Two starting CBs needed in summer.

The best ability is availability. Looks as if we’ll need two centre backs after all.

FFS. Might as well take the rest of the season out to recover

FFS he's injured again - calf injury in training this time

Makes me question whether he was even ready to come on at the weekend

The medical and fitness department need sacking urgently. The volume of muscle injuries is unacceptable… it cannot just be bad luck. And for arguably our most important player to be rushed back from injury after the non season he’s had only to pick up another one straight away is nothing short of a farce. We’re absolutely fecked I’m afraid.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
I’m no physio but I don’t think fecking off to America to train for a few days with his country when he’s been injured for his club all season was particularly smart. Not entirely sure how two 14 hour flights help recovery. I’m sure it’s unrelated and I don’t want to get all old mannish but there’s no fecking way that’s accepted under Ferguson.

Maybe it's' down to the manager and backroom staff? Certain these guys are being rushed back / given all the clear as there's no back up in place.

When he comes back he will have missed more games through injury, than he’s played for us.
Get rid of him in the summer, I can’t stand another Phil Jones story.

Obvious Ten Hag didn't want to play him but was forced due to Lindelof

It was fecking stupid and typical of this club to allow it.

Travelling across the world to "continue rehab" when lets call a spade a spade, it was just to meet up with his buddies.

He wasnt before he joined us. Serious questions need to be asked of our medical department.
Exactly. I don't how people can look at our injury list this season and think it's just down to individuals being injury prone. There are big issues with our medical department and the club know it hence why we hired that guy from Arsenal and I expect there to be an overhaul this summer.

I don't agree with that either, if it was very local, maybe, but I'd like to think we had him on a proper rehab programme (or am I placing too much competence in us?!) and so surely if he's not ready to play with us he shouldn't be fecking off on what is effectively a jolly halfway round the world.

I was shocked when seeing the photos of him out there and posted at the time

Also, it makes me wonder if he was even fully fit - I know Harry has generally been performing quite well as of late, but thought Licha was ahead of him in the pecking order, yet when whoever it was got injured at the weekend, Harry came on, which suggests Licha could only play the bare minimum if at all....

He's starting to edge towards the "injury prone" category, which is a shame as he was one of my favourites of our current players. The only thing keeping me from fully labelling him that way is the question of whether he was rushed back. He shouldn't have been on the bench if not fit. (Or going to America!!)

Immediate inquiry needs to be launched into the handling of Martinez's injuries and rehabilitation. Allowing him to go off to Argentina on international duty was absolutely shocking. Rushing him back in vs Brentford where he looked very poor was also shocking. Let him miss the rest of the season. Play Kambwala. Any player who has missed more than 10 games via injury needs to be assessed whether they're worth continuing with in the summer. Absolutely incredible the amount of injuries this season.

Is he ever not injured? Easier to write stories when he is fit to start games

On one hand, I think he's a quality player. On the other hand, the injuries are building up, let's see if they persist being a thing or if it's a unique shit period for him. But in addition to that, he is obviously physically challenged (short, not particularly quick so will never be fully dominant) and if we are looking at Branthwaite as a world class talent that we want to sign .. he'd just replace Martinez basically. Or push Martinez to a faux left back like City use Ake or Gvardiol.

A lot of blame must surely go towards training regime and medical staff. I refuse to believe any club is this unlucky. Can’t wait for this f*ck show of a season to end.

Made of glass. Two new CBs needed in the summer minimum.

Can't wait for our spanking off Pool on Sunday when we have no fit defenders.
