Yeah, indefensible. How can any manager watch that game in game out and not think there's a better way to do it?

It's good that he has been exposed for the fraud of a manager he is albeit it happened at our expense.

Championship is too high of a level for him

Anyone that still wants to keep him is quite frankly an idiot and I have magic beans I want to sell them.

It’s no surprise his fans are so stubborn & arrogant. They’re exactly like the man himself.

His refusal to even contemplate that his tactical set up doesn’t work is akin to him signing his own death warrant.

He can have no complaints when he’s eventually sacked.

Absolute joker and fraud of a manager. It's amazing that there are still many people who can't see it. Seriously give it to anyone until end of the season, this is embarassing.

I don't think Rooney is anywhere near top manager material, but I bet we would look much better even under him.

He is an amalgamation of the worst parts of all our previous managers.

I have said this previously, his high moments( efl cup, fa cup vs Liverpool??, can't think of anything else) is still meh compared to the others, yet his low moments are far worse compared to Jose, Ole and lvg, or even moyes at this point.

We may well end with less points and position than moyes. With the freedom he has had in transfers that's totally unacceptable.

The Old Trafford crowd is incredibly patient with managerial mediocrity. The crowd pressure alone would have seen him sacked at another big club.
That's why we're not a big club anymore. You think real madrid fans would accept this mediocrity for 2 seasons in a row?

Managing United has been a stroll in the park for 11 years now. There's zero expectations to actually do anything and mediocrity is applauded.

It's embarrassing tbh. A big reason why we have fallen so far behind is because the Glazers know they can get away with this without any discontent. Only when it's ground zero do the fans pipe up.

That opening game of the season against Wolves wasn’t a freak off day. It was a foreshadowing for the entire season.

Honestly feck this wanker. Made us a complete laughing stock.

Club is dead if he's still here next week.
We know he will because apparently he can't be sacked because we have no one to sack him. Despite the fact SJR has that power...

@TrebleChamp99 will be buzzing with this performance so far.
I don’t see a lack of effort from the team, do you?
It’s the managers job to look at the squad , to see the issues in the squad and set up to those issues and be more tactically adept.

What I see so far is a naieve approach with no plan to deal with Liverpool.

As far as I can tell the plan is , sit back and hit them on the break with balls over the top.

We have decent players in midfield he couldn’t coach them to do something? To have a plan with the ball?

Get him gone.

This is the worst we’ve been i my lifetime (since mid 70’s). The tactics, plan and execution are just horrible and we seem to get worse every week. Makes you wonder what we’re do in the training field. ETH has to go as soon as the season is over.

This stupid stubborn cnut still thinks his "system" is failing because the players aren't following instructions when it's clear as day the players he has are incapable of playing this way and persisting with it is getting us wrecked by teams week after week. If he doesn't make subs and change tactics at half time then he is even more of a clown than i thought.

It’s been obvious that we were sleepwalking into a disaster of a season with this tactical set up from day 1 of pre-season. 9 months later and he’s still persisting with it. The man’s an idiot.

I think he’s getting off very lightly

Past couple of weeks in particular has been a joke. He’s not spottingor reacting to anything happening in the match

I haven't turned off a United game since LVG but I came damn close there. I really hoped he would turn it around.

Just tuning in, I take it it's a typical united performance against any half decent team?

Matt Busby was hired 80 years ago, Fergie 40 years ago. Football has moved on.
You evolve or go extinct, it’s clear some would rather die than betray traditions but you can’t expect everyone to follow suit.
Not sure what is the problem? Knock yourself out.

Big Sam sitting with Sir Jim, I'd honestly take him until the end of the season over this fraud.

He wouldn't have made it to a second season. Would have been sacked immediately after the 7-0, and probably not even allowed onto the team bus for the trip back home.

Maybe he doesn't. Maybe ETH is only still here because of an administrative loophole. Thats why he still sounds so cocky in the pressers.

Can we sack him and get Giggs interim till the end of the season. Hell I'd take Rooney or Keane or Robson till the end of the season. Darren fletcher even.

One of the things that irritates is that, like LvG, I think he expects us to score with EVERY single one of the few attacking moves we make. He’ll point to the Garnacho offside in the post match as evidence of chances but that’s just one chance.

As mentioned a couple days ago; we're this rubbish by design.

Players are following his instructions, but the instructions lead to appalling football. The man is too stubborn to change and simply must be removed from the club
This is what upsets met the most. It's obvious. We've had much worse group of individuals pull off better performances.

Individually, you can see quality in different moments from almost all of the players we have on the pitch. You can see it in their touches and even when we're on the counter. Yet when it all comes together, the gaps in the shape, how we deal with set pieces and our shape in possession all clearly lead to terrible football. The media and club spin has always been to blame groups of players, but it's quite clear that Ten Haag and his coaching staff are responsible for the consistent issues in regard to shape that we currently have. Fans can blame Bruno, call Rashford rubbish, turn on Casemiro, bully Onana or shout at Maguire all they want, with Ten Haag, this isn't on them. I truly believe if he managed Liverpool, he's have their fans complaining constantly about the likes of Qansah, Bradley, asking for Salah and Van Dijk to leave to start a new era. That's what happens when you have bad managers, they make almost everyone look like trash

Agree his proverbial burial of one’s bald head in the sand is startling and will lead his downfall

That's not true though. The media (and our fans) relentlessly held LvG, Ole and Jose to account to the point it became counterproductive. Both Ole and Jose came 2nd, and if you go back, half of this forum hounded them for not winning the league!

The one manager who hasn't actually deserved blind faith and 'time' is the one manager who has been largely backed unconditionally by the fans

I want half the team replaced but I do kind of feel sorry for them being asked to play this way. They look so clueless and probably know deep down that the instructions are poor but they have to follow it because their coach is telling them to do these things.

I understand that a lot of people just attach this weird mythical status to managers because of our experience with Fergie, but none of these coaches are fit to lace his boots. The way that people act as though people like Ten Hag deserve time because Fergie was given time is disrespectful to his greatness - you don't give Bebe time because Salah turned great when given time to develop. There are 0 signs for optimism with Ten Hag, how can this be allowed to continue? I'm tired of throwing seasons away and blind faith in failing coaches.
