People saying they are scared we will lose him to Real and Barca, how many players have we lost to those clubs? I hear this all the time as if we’ve been their feeder club for years.

Especially now with the money in football, players won’t be moving from one big club to another due to the astronomical cost and if and when Garnacho gets to that level that the big boys in Spain want him, they’ll have to pay £100m upwards which they can’t afford.
Lately there haven't been any players in United to be interested in to begin with, the last one would be De Gea. It's still early for him although he looks promising and being from Spain is easy to make those assumptions of him moving to Spain at some point in his career. It depends on him, how he develops and how good United are doing in the future. If he's happy there then and United don't want to sell then yeah, you're correct and it should cost a lot of money to get him.

They were referring to his behaviour as part of the squad on the summer tour of Bangkok and Australia.

While Garnacho was taken on the tour, he did not play after twice turning up late for team meetings.

Extremely stupid decision not to take such an impact player to world cup.

They should have call him up to WC squad, he could be the spark they are missing today, too late now for sure?

He is going to be a fantastic player for us if he just don't get carried away by it all. Keep training hard and try to improve in all parts of the game until he is best.

I think its a ploy his team's part to push his $$ in the current contract negotiations. I think the club's being cautious in not wanting to give him too much too soon based on his behaviour over the summer.
