Ah Jesus. Another 48hrs till he's holding up the jersey. I'm sure the long drawn out transfer will be worth it thought. Hopefully his press conference can be as good as rvps. The little boy inside me told me to come to United

I'm personally glad. It's going to help my prediction of this getting to 1000 pages.

We can still announce the signing today and put a disclaimer like - subject to work permit. We’ve done that in the past.

There's been a lot of talk Arsenal were mugged. I personally don't think Arsenal were mugged with this swap.
I was watching Arsenal fan TV and I thought Claude made a good point. If they had sold to City they would've got money in the bank but probably no player, and he went on to say that money in the bank probably wouldn't be spent anyway, so it's best they get a player in exchange who, even though I personally don't rate particularly high, has shown he's capable of good stuff in the past.

In terms of player quality I think it's an absolute steal for us, though.

That's just a silly point. As bad as a Arsenal are at spending, of course they would have spent money to replace Sanchez. The main reason he didn't go in the summer was that Arsene hand no time to buy a replacement. They wanted Lemar for £90m. That's just them trying to spin it as a positive, but of course they would have replaced Sanchez.

Essentially they have lost a world class player to a PL rival. That's far from a positive in my book.

Anyone genuinely feeling for Mkhi and wonder how he's doing now?
No. Even if I started having such a horrid slip, I’d just recall any of his gazillion misplaced attempts at passes. Or just think of his “performance” at Chelsea. And then remind myself United paid for that...

The Ornacle has spoken. Nothing to see here folks, let's wait until tomorrow.
We'll announce before the work permit comes back, they're both going to pass that with ease. No point in keep Sanchez locked in the medic's office until the paper pushers get back to us with the green light. Plus, the work permit only states he can play, not that he's signed.

I left this thread for a couple of hours, come back and found out that a pornstar just joined the caf and that we have an very early contestant for the muppet of the year award
Glad I'm not the only one who thought of a certain big-assed white girl upon seeing that handle.

Is this 48 hrs thing measured from Mars or some planet far far away from the universe?
