Sorry about that everyone, totally unforeseen outage. It was pretty much the cliched 'tripped on a cable' downtime! Someone in the data centre messed up but it's also a relief that it was an easy fix once the problem was found and there's no hardware fault so everything should be back running solid.

Thanks for your patience :)

You're all clearly clueless.

Look, I'm not saying it was Rafael's fault. All I'm saying is even though Evra held up the cable, and Jonny Evans accidentally tripped on it while David De Gea pushed him, Rafael could have positioned himself a bit closer to the cable as to prevent the cable trip.

So, while I'm not blaming this downtime in it's entirety on Rafael, I do think he should do better.

I didnt panic. I checked the Snaf, then as a last resort I checked Reloaded.

But I remained cool

I panicked. I checked SkySports, realized that was entirely shit, then checked BBC, realized the same plus the new page freaks me out, then I repeatedly tried to log on to the Caf without making it.

Ended up logging on to Facebook and Twitter, and sitting aphatically in a chair for an hour.

Yeah it wouldn't let me into the 'Soccer Manager' thread and then closed altogether.

Doing some routine maintenance today so the site was blocked with a username/password for about 10 minutes. Likely to be some more maintenance later in the day but should only last a few minutes.

My heart did skip a few beats there Niall, you should know that I find it difficult to deal with the shock of unexpected downtime by now

Been getting intermittant 'cannae take the strain messages'.

Had them for around 10-15 minutes straight about half an hour ago, along with Wayne_Rooney. Getting one every so often pop up as well.
