He made a few mistakes but he saved us more than he cost us today.

Best game he has for us, making some good saves throughout the game. Pity we still conceded 3 goals.

Made some decent saves but this palming it back into danger after a save is irritating but was highlighted by quite a few posters before we signed him. Needs to somehow iron that out of his game.

Is improving though, so onwards and upwards!

Just love his ability to parry everything straight Infront of him, dreadful keeper.

The thing is a lot of goalkeepers do this but have a proactive defence that is quicker to rebounds, we don’t.

The only reason we didn’t get pumped 7 or 8. Did as much as he could under the circumstances.

Good game but it is clear that he is a poor keeper technically. Another flop signing from the club and EtH.

He is one of the best performers today. At least, this transfer probably can come good eventually.

I would have given him motm but for that sloppy moment towards the end where he went to ground to collect it after Lindelofs error but fluffed it and nearly caused a goal.

Pretty pathetic how little we make use of his ball playing ability which was the whole reason we signed him. Compare us today vs what Inter managed to do vs City and it is night and day. Even when we had a numerical advantage, our passing and moving was so slow that City were able to regroup and keep the ball in front of them. The amount of times he or the two center halves had the ball and the only passing option is to each other while everyone else is just stood still. Genuinely wonder what we work on in training, because if anything we are worse playing out from the back now then we were a few months into the season last year. And you can't just say it is down to the players. City have 4 center backs, all of whom are solid but nothing special passing wise, just pinging the ball around sharply. You don't have to have 2 Rodris and 2 Busquets to be able to play smooth football.

Onana is the only player that came out of today's match with their reputation enhanced.

He is starting to show what he is capable of after a shaky start. He has been putting in good performances recently. Shame the defence in front of him is terrible but he was one of the few who seemed to actually care today.

He saved Utd from an absolute battering today ….possibly his best performance so far

He's not playing out from the back at all, he just hoofs it every time. Not sure if he manager is telling him to keep it simple, but Burnley's new keeper plays out more than him right now.

It’s because our players just stand there and do nothing. We don’t play it wide anymore and we can’t keep the ball in the middle. I wouldn’t trust these players either.

Watch how many times Inter played through City using him in the Final and watch what he had to work with today. Embarrassing how poor we are and it is completely inexplicable. Genuinely what are we working on in training? There are 10 PL teams with inferior players who look far more assured playing out from the back than we do.

Think it's a combination of being told and the players in front of him. Think not having Shaw and martinez makes a difference. Our midfield however is the big issue as they don't move and make themselves available. He was poor, but at least Fred would try and show.

Also doesn't help that apart from hoijlund when we go long nobody challenges

I've had my doubts but he was very good today. Hope it continues.
made some very good saves…

but again made 2 incredibly poor handling errors that on another day could have led to 2 goals.

just makes me nervous

He’ll be fine. He’s made a few howlers but most of the goals we’ve conceded have been down to shite defending as opposed to poor goalkeeping. He’s also pulled off some top drawer saves and kept us in the CL for now.

Did well considering the players in front of him. Yet another match where he doesn't do that nervous stutter step before diving. His shot stopping is good enough we just need a better team to maximise his world class attributes.

He did make some very good saves but I thought he was atrocious on the second goal. Haaland’s header goes in the centre of goal about chest height. He dived past it and under it.

‘ Atrocious’

it was a free header from 6 yards out, Onana was scrambling across and Haaland headed it the opposite way he was travelling, very few, if any keepers pull that save off for feck sake

He dove past and under it. It was in the centre of the goal. If he puts it back post no problem but it was an awful attempt at saving it.

You’re being overly harsh, could he have done better? Probably, was it atrocious/awful? Nowhere near it, he has a split second to decide which way Haaland is going to go, he guessed right in the first half resulting in a world class save. He didn’t this time but it’s 99% a goal in that situation. And watching it back he didn’t head it in the centre, he heads it the opposite way from Onana who’s moving from the correct position at the front post.

Played well and some great saves, credit to him showing some resilience to come back from a dodgy start

Still not convinced. He has awful technique when saving sometimes. Just bizarre
