How on Earth would he be expecting us to renew his contract, even Utd squad wages? He’s playing for his future, every goal he scores between now and when he leaves is extra money in his pocket on his next deal elsewhere. If he got his head down and scored 10 between now and May who knows? We were willing to offer Pogba a new deal at around 350k so we are obviously blind or putting it kindly reticent to go back into the market for better squad players

He hasn’t but he’s a chronic Sugma sufferer and that affects his fitness, he can easily start feeling fatigued.
It speaks volumes that even a club as poorly run at United decided against extending his contract. He's literally worthless to us, despite us only having one mediocre forward in the team

People here act like he doesn’t contribute to building up attacks by coming deep breaking lines and initiating play and trying to initiate 1-2s. He does do that better than any of our other options. The problem is that he's so physically broken that it's basically the only thing he can do now, and he doesn't do it anywhere near as well as what he used to.
Martial isn't as bad as many on here are making out and even in his current physical state there are times that he makes our entire attack gel better than anyone else can, but the key phrase there is 'at times'. He can't be trusted to stay fit, and even when he is fit he struggles to do it all that often. It's a shame as I'd love to see him link with Amad as I reckon they'd love playing with each other with all the interplay and quick one-twos.

Had a day off lad. How long has he been at the club and not doing any of the stuff you suggest on anything like a regular basis? Numerous managers have deemed him fit for a bit part role yet there are people who think he’s still a solution.

He was already disliked because he didnt smile and Mourinho said dumb stuff because he wanted to sell Martial to get some old players in.
Since he became the injury prone broken player he is these days that dislike turned into blind hatred. Martial was an amazing talent and was, until the injuries, on course to become a great forward at the highest level.
Yep. Young Martial was more talented than young Rashford, he was almost as good as Greenwood

Interesting if true. We'll be down to just two recognized strikers at the club but that's true most of the time anyway and we save 200K a week on wages for the rest of the season.
He's never available anyway, so might as well let him go and save the money. We are also out of most cups so matches will be fewer - let Joe Hugill get a sniff when Højlund needs a break or play McTominay there.
