Good first half, shite second. Even when he was playing well he carried no real attacking threat.

He just offers so little in an actual attacking sense. Tracks back, can keep possession and pass it back but what a letdown for the amount paid for him.

Worked very hard, did a strong tactical, responsible job, just lacks the top end quality to take him to the next level.

Worked hard tracking back, our first right winger to do that since Valencia. Mata and Greenwood certainly didnt. Was okay going forward, some decent parts and some poor parts

He had a good game defensively and worked hard but it’s embarrassing that he didn’t do anything in attack at all. Their LB didn’t need to defend at all

His best game off the ball
He's a weird player because he works hard, but a lot of the good stuff he did off the ball was after he made a mistake on the ball

Was good in everything, but attack. Well, he was good in helping build up our attack, but once again not good in the final third.

He's so weird. His main characteristic is using trickery and dribbling to beat a man/get out of tight situations but he has no pace so whoever he goes past always catches up to him and we're back to square one. I don't understand how he made it this far as a winger unless he's lost some pace in the last couple of years.

He might end up being useful as some sort of defensive winger/fullback hybrid if we had someone who could bomb forward from RB.

Can’t fault the effort but just doesn’t have the pace and power at this level, same goes for Sancho. Just not quite good enough to really hurt teams and I don’t think there is much can do about it.

We’ve spent 150m on two players to solve our RW problem and it still needs solving.

So bad and offers nothing in attack which is his first and most important task.

He won't run forwards with the ball. It's a real problem when you're a winger. Like a striker that won't shoot.

Has to be dropped after the international break.

some of the moments he gets himself out of right up against the sideline to retain the ball are pretty impressive

He's a very stupid footballer. Possibly one of the lowest IQ players I've ever had the displeasure of watching.

He always seems busy which might give the impression he's having a good game. The reality is he's busy not doing much of note and adding zero actual value to the attack.

Solid performance today. Less so as an attacker, and more so tracking back, defending, and being a nuisance during their buildups.

Martinelli v him, it’s embarrassing to even compare them, no full back feels worried facing Antony, he’d struggle in the SPL. Meanwhile martinelli gave one of the best one v one FBs a proper game, Wan Bissaka wishes he could face Antony every week

Problem is his lack of pace, he did a great job doubling up on Martinelli but then when we won the ball he was too far back to make any attacking impact, as he just gets caught. Hopefully in games like this in future having an extra defensive mid like Amrabat in with Casemiro may mean Antony doesn’t have to track back so far, and can actually receive the ball further up the pitch

Another player who is consumed by his price tag. The club should never have gone to those lengths to sign him.

I don't mind him at all as he is a fighter and shows a bit of grit, but he's another reason our spend was so limited this summer.

As a £85m starting right winger for Manchester United, it's not enough - but it's not all on him.

He’s okay a lot of the time but just a very underwhelming player offensively who isn’t quick enough, strong enough or decisive enough to be a top winger.

He went 14 PL games without a goal or an assist last season.

He's on 4 so far this season.

I saw during the game that we are in that phase where people are clutching at straws now. When we are praising good hold up play and defensive run.
In reality it is a big problem when your attacker is a no threat. He can't beat a man, his passing is weak and he can't cross. His game is to get a ball, roll it few times (like he is going for it) and then stops and passes the ball back. And counter attack is dead there.

This is not overreaction now; Mata was more dangerous and useful on right wing.

Tracks back well but is nothing in attack. One of the least dangerous wingers the club has had

No pace on the counter. It's impossible to become the great transition team Ten Hag says he wants without speed. Square peg, round hole.

He was good today but more like Park Ji Sung good.

If we needed a winger with three lungs and nothing else we should not have sold Dan James.

He's just not enough of a threat. He is too easy to play against. He doesn't hurt the opponent enough, it just makes us blunt.

He is a big part of our inability to score goals.
Unfortunately, I think this is too true. He's one of the front three and is actually more suited to a right back position. We're never going to see him suddenly scoring large amounts of goals. He scored 4 league goals last season. I think we'll see somewhere between 4 and 8...if we're very lucky.

He also doesn't have the fluidity or movement to create spaces for others. He's very rigid. He's pretty good at the defensive side of things, but that doesn't help when we need goals. He's not the right player for our front 3.

ETH has to take this one and deal with it, because this player is putting pressure on both the team, and ETH, coaching staff etc. Antony carries no attacking threat at all. It's making things very difficult. AWB behind him doesn't help. Both players are far, far too erratic and have significant limitations.

He wasn't particularly bad but didn't contribute anything in terms of attacking. The opposite: he lost so many balls through pass misses that led to dangerous counter attacks. Sometimes he was fast enough to make up for his mistake by winning the ball again, but if that was Sancho there would be 100 posts about how shite he is. I seriously question some of the caf members who thought that Antony was our best man.
