Watch Love/Hate if you can find it. Cracking tellyJust finished both seasons of Kin, the Irish gangland drama. Pretty entertaining show, although that's mainly down to the actors rather than the plot, which is pretty thin.
7/10.

Nice one, heard about the former before but passed me by as I thought it was a different type of game.Don't think you'll find many with the exact setting and era. For setting the best is probably Ghost of Tsushima. For 17th century I've got no idea. Maybe Monkey Island?
Cheers. You're now the third consecutive person to recommend Love/Hate to me after I've mentioned Kin.Watch Love/Hate if you can find it. Cracking telly
Good luckCheers. You're now the third consecutive person to recommend Love/Hate to me after I've mentioned Kin.
At lunch I'm going to see if the lovely new lass working in The Co-Op can make it number four.
Exciting times.
For All Mankind.Got 3 months free of Apple TV so have a new batch of shows to watch.
Started Ted Lasso. Very saccharine but I do like it. The grumpy old captain being named Roy Kent is certainly on the nose!
What's better out of Silo and Foundation? Looking for something to scratch the sci-fi itch.
I really feel overwhelmed again with the amount of shows and movies out there that apparently are must watches. For all Mankind def sounds interesting to me. Sometimes I miss the days when you would just have to turn on the telly at the appropriate time to catch a gameshow or the news or the 3 or so shows actually worth watching. For All Mankind.
Brilliant.
So good.For All Mankind.
Brilliant.
Gonna start this tonight. I liked the idea of it years ago but was put off by some indifferent reviews. For All Mankind.
Brilliant.
Benioff and Weiss as showrunners and main writers..what could possibly go wrong?!
Give the TBP trilogy of novels were actually finished by the author, I think they'll be ok.Benioff and Weiss as showrunners and main writers..what could possibly go wrong?!
Just started it tonight as well. The initial scenes of the landing & how eerily quiet Mission Control was made me quite uncomfortable remembering how joyous it was in real life.Gonna start this tonight. I liked the idea of it years ago but was put off by some indifferent reviews.
Waiting a week for a new episode was great. Everyone was on the same plane and you'd speculate all week what's gonna happen.I really feel overwhelmed again with the amount of shows and movies out there that apparently are must watches. This is like asking where are the federers, nadals and djokovics of today's game. That period of the 00s was just a freaky one for classic shows. There's all the Sopranos, Losts and The Wires?
Agree with all these but they're all miniseries and so not quite the same thing.True detective season 1 was amazing (haven’t watched other seasons to be fair)
Cherbobyl with Jared Harris is a must watch , its jaw droppinglu depressing and superb at the same time
The terror with Jared Harris was also a really enjoyable horror with great character development
Yes. Fantastic show.Is Slow Horses worth a watch?
My mum recommended it to me which is an instant red flag tbh.
it's a very mum show, kinda like The Night Agent. Is Slow Horses worth a watch?

Great show. If you liked Spooks you will like this and worth watching just for Gary Oldman if nothing else, who is brilliant. Is Slow Horses worth a watch?

Its one of the worst things I have ever seenYea i am watching this also. Its like the other Coben works - not believeable in the slightest, but watchable for all the twists and turns.
The Innocent was terrible. The acting was so bad and the plot so boring that we quit before the end of ep1.The innocent? That was good. Not seen the polish one. Stay close is one of my best ones.
Come on man, no need to be hyperbolic. It isnt great, certainly not believeable and the acting is average, its still watchable though. Ive seen much worse Coben adaptions by netflix - like the Polish one.Its one of the worst things I have ever seen
Michelle Keegan is beyond awful. Wooden and expressionless and just not a good actress.
As for the show its shit. Beyond shit, waste your time
It's Thursday a bit of hyperbole is OK.Come on man, no need to be hyperbolic. It isnt great, certainly not believeable and the acting is average, its still watchable though. Ive seen much worse Coben adaptions by netflix - like the Polish one.
I think they should have set it in America. It would have made more sense given the plot.
Watched the first 3 last night about to carry on. I'm impressed so far.Just started it tonight as well. The initial scenes of the landing & how eerily quiet Mission Control was made me quite uncomfortable remembering how joyous it was in real life.
I really enjoyed it. Probably the best TV I watched in 2023 (or close 2nd). I've mentioned it in this thread before in Feb 2023, after watching the first season. Since watched 2nd season too. Took me a little while to adapt when they changed the cast to an older set of actors, as it covers such a long period of time. Kasia Smutniak is outstanding as the older Livia; a stunning performance. Not sure how I never heard of this show before but it sounds like it ll have a Season 3 after 2 highly rated seasons before:
Domina. Drama series set in Roman times following the assassination of Julius Caesar. Has Liam Cunningham in it for instance. Has anyone watched it?
It's top, but there are now issues as they kicked out Costner. Have not watched the spin offs yet thoughReally enjoying Yellowstone after being recommended by a few people to me.
