I don't think there has been anything reactionary to this manager. Many people have called him out to be a mediocre manager for almost a year plus now. He is very fortunate to be still in the job. The only thing he has done at Arsenal is lower their standards where finishing 6th or 7th will be seen as progress.

Even when they were all still there it was going stale. I can't remember the last time I immediately thought AFTV after an Arsenal loss on a consistent basis, probably the Emery meltdown period. Even when Arteta had Arsenal on that run barely scoring it wasn't that entertaining DT's mental gymnastics to defend the manager aside.
The public got too much of what they want.
It essentially requires Arsenal to keep falling. I think it would only remain interesting if they were close to relegation.

Yeah they peaked during the end of the Wenger era and it was still pretty entertaining to watch during the Emery years but the minute they started accepting their place as a top 6-8 team, it stopped being entertaining.
