Just wait until he has an average performance against watford or someone and people start freaking the feck out.

Our fergie years and success was built and having guys like him in the squad. Butt o shea brown Neville I feckig love it and it pisses me off when I see people complain. He is never gonna be a Ronaldo but he will also never give less than 100% even if he plays poorly and makes mistakes he will keep going.

It shows what desire and passion can do and I applaud ash for this attitude it is superb. Long may it continue. Super performance yesterday

He is very consistent even when he is out of the team for a while.

A great squad player to have around. My MOTM against Spurs.

We have some dumb players and young leads the way. He just sticks to a corner and plays the easy pass . We can’t win games with him and Valencia expecting to create

He's a master at deceiving managers and sometimes the fans that what he does at the pitch is useful.

His playing days should be now down the league table as a 3rd rate winger who busts a gut, and occasionally puts a decent cross not at Manchester United.

Surprised that he came off. We got Fellaini & Lukaku, plan A didn't work and obviously you want to play plan B. And I thought it's better to have someone who can deliver the ball to the box like Young.

He's not that good going forward anymore. In the first half, he had a lot of space to attack Zappacosta but wasted the ball most of the time. He's decent enough on the counter, and now defensively surprisingly. He's a great squad option and for certain games but we need a specialist LB or Shaw back in.

What do you mean by better shift? Working tirelessly and running like headless chicken. If thats what the criteria then why don't we buy Livermore and Mark Noble, they will also put in a great shift. Its so funny on one hand fans say we should act like big clubs and then come here defending mediocre performers like Fellaini and Young.

When I say "Shift" Im not talking about running etc,I'm stating he played better than others.

He created our biggest chance.

I find it funny that you will say he's not good enough yet the players that supposedly are dont even turn up/ dont even have a noticeable moment.

You guys run to the young/Fellaini thread when a result doesn't go your way, stating " they are not good enough",yet the so called " big players" get the good old," its just one bad game, once Pogba is back.....".

He can't be our main LB for obvious reasons but he's a very good player to have in our squad imo.

I do not mind young or fellaini as squad players, its good to have them. I have always rated Young as 10/10 for his work rate but let us not be kidding ourselves and say he has been the most skillful players or the most productive players because he is not. Yes he performed better than Mkhi and herrera the other night but that does not say much considering we need to find a proper LB who can cross the ball and not just run everywhere. You may feel young is good enough for this club but I do not. For a back up, yes but to make him our primary LB season after season, starting him in big games, well I do not support such crap.

He has done well when called upon. Why were Moses and Delph still at City & Chelsea?
Honestly have no idea. Also it seemed for some time that Chelsea were trying to get rid of Moses until Conte found a role for him to make a solid contribution in. As for Delph, i couldn't tell you. Maybe the homegrown quota?

Such players are useful. Young is also useful. That's why he's still here.

I don't believe that for one second. Moses is given he's had a great season last time around but the other two just fill up quotas. I'd rather have a young player with great potential filling up that role in our squad.

How many times has Young found Fellaini, making him look good in the process?

2-3 times . So now you think he deserves a three year contract.
Ashley Young is sub standard.

The other day he was telling Dele Alli to talk when he wins the league. This moron has medals because he is in the squad and injured half season every season. Not because he has done something brilliant for united.

The fact that not many teams come to sign him in the summer tells you the story.

Yes he “puts a shift in and does a job” but we’re Manchester United and we shouldn’t need players who do a job. We have more than enough funds to attract the worlds best players so why are we still relying on a past it Ashley Young as our main attacking outlet? It’s baffling. Why were we not in for Mendy or Aurier? Why have we still got Valencia and Young in the team in 2018?? These questions need to be answered.

It’s obvious we need new fullbacks. And a good old fashioned winger with a deadly cross. That’s why I was hoping we would get Perisic. He is the missing piece of the jigsaw in my eyes. I think we need a player like him more than we need a player like Griezmann. We have plenty of “inside forwards”, we need more width and pace on the wings. NOT another second striker.

How many clubs were in for Rooney? You should know its never easy for United to offload players to lesser teams because of their wage demands. The fact he didn't get any offers means nothing. He wasn't even transfer listed! Young is United through and through and he's won over every manager this club has had since Fergie's departure. Moron indeed! Alli can feck off he hasn't achieved anything

When young retires people will not remember him because he won titles for united but because he dives lol. That's says a lot.

He wins every manager but unfortunately we don't win much with him in the team . Here are his career stats https://www.premierleague.com/players/3062/Ashley-Young/overview

For a player brought in to attack those numbers are horrendous. We have become a mediocre team because we have a bad balance of world class and squad players . We have more squad players than class players.

You're right. We do have more squad players than world class players. Its always been this way, but squad players are rotation players by general definition so its worrying, and this team is the highest paid in England

Good offensively, but his positioning is absolutely terrible and it's being exposed more than usual because of our sleepy midfield.
