Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

  • Total voters
    194
  • Poll closed .
At this point the EU really should just tell us to piss off, we deserve it.

So a final f*ck you from Theresa...

I’m putting her ahead of Cameron now in the worst PM list. He was reckless. She seems genuinely malicious.

She must be living in her own reality. The lot of them must be...

Terrible MP and a terrible Priminster. Worst in my life time, can't stand the woman, utterly terrible. It's all ego with her, "my deal, my deal, my deal". Yawn.

Seriously though, has Theresa May forgotten that an MP was shot dead because of the conspiratorial element to the Brexit mob.

It's such a dangerous card to play- particularly with the current events going on in the world with right wing extremism.

So let's sum this up....

EU: No short term extension unless deal is agreed. Open to long term extension and look for alternative solution.
May: No long term extension, only a short one. Let's have a go at my deal again.
Bercrow: No we won't. You've changed feck all
Mogg: I'm fecking loving this.

If she has enough votes to get her deal through then wouldn't she also have enough votes to set aside this protocol?

Yeah. If it is the will of the house to vote again, then the government can set aside this rule in the business motion. 'Will' would depend on whether more MP's change their thinking at the deadline gets ever nearer.

That statement was a disgrace. A deliberate attack on Parliament with one eye in the polls and appealing to a very particular section of the electorate deliberately misrepresented as the general public.
What is she fecking playing at?

Bloody-mindedness worthy of Thatcher.

They've been bad for a while. We had the incompetent Brown, Cameron whose last contact with a normal person was probably his nanny, and now Theresa May, but nothing can compare to the war criminal who preceded them.

PMs speech in a nutshell is;

1 - everyone is to blame for this feck up except me, just like every feck up when I was head of the Home Office.
2 - nobody wants a referendum and it's a waste of precious time, even though I was more than happy to waste months on a general election when I thought I could score some cheap seats when I was ahead in the polls, which worked up until the point when I had to open my mouth and everyone realised my "I'm strong and stable" narrative was bullshit because the reality is I'm probably the most incompetent twat to hold the position of PM in a generation.

Am I close to the truth?

The Withdrawal Agreement is an agreement to withdraw from the EU. That is exactly what the millions who wanted to leave the EU voted for.
Yeah, @Maticmaker, this. Brexiteers made this point numerous times: the people voted to leave the EU. They didn't vote for any deal, and didn't vote for no deal either.

So perhaps the best choice would be to ask them if this is what they votes for. If you believe the WA isn't what they wanted.

She's the Prime Minister who cried nothing. Another absolutely pathetic statement solely focused on pandering to the press to ensure that she's not the villain, even if it was about getting her deal through how is blaming all MP's apart from herself likely to get more of them on side?
