RAWK reaction?

You can imagine Rodgers watching at home spitting out his coffee!!

Should be banned for a year and put into a Phychiatric ward. He's a danger to the players on the pitch. Who knows what diseases he could be spreading with his bites.

Like Hoddle said, if you did that in the street you'd be locked up in prison or put in a mental hospital.. why should footballers be above the law?

Stupid tackle by Marchisio, Italy were comfortable before that - and even after it, for large periods. Can't stand Uruguay. This is one of the most impotent Italian front lines I've ever seen though, they're really poor at creating chances, Ballotelli and Immobile both didn't offer enough movement or presence going forward and I don't think either wingback is good enough offensively for a 3-5-2 system.

this photo is great, he bit so hard his teeth hurt him.

But who knows maybe this is photoshoped too.

So if you were trying to cover up that youde just bitten someone, you would hold your theeth? Yoy would wanna draw attention to the very 'weapon' you were accused of using?

From the reply you can clearly see hes holdin his theeth because he just got elbowed by Chiellini. Like I mentioned before, if a camera angle comes out showin he bit him, all well good. Until then everyone heres just on a witch hunt hahaha

In unrelated news, has anyone seen 'To kill a Mockingbird"?

He's certainly not going to play international football again for a long time but does anyone know if FIFA can ban him from club football too?

I'm sorry but that red card for Italy is completely justifiable. He went completely over the ball and caught his shin with his studs. I don't care how little pressure there was behind it or how softly he may have caught him, if you put your foot up that high and make any contact, you have to go. That kind of challenge is what refs and football officials are trying to stamp out of the game.

I don't think anyone on here will argue about that sending off. That was a dirty tackle.
It just felt a little random (to the Italian fans in the bar I watched the game at least) that that particular tackle counted for a sending off. There were similar fouls which went unpunished.
Overall a pretty dirty game.

Luis Suarez row: How often do adults bite?

Dr Fawcett thinks this is likely to have a minimal effect. "It's in the man," he says. "I would think that in five years' time if there was a certain nerve hit or chord rung with Suarez in a different situation he would react in the same way."

Keep on going.

Most people these days in modern football dont seem to have a problem with cheaters and divers, they just think that its part of the game so why should this incident be any different?

Maybe it was a bite. But I don't think it was intentional. Suarez got really big buck teeth, so in a physical contact sport in Football there will be accidents. I can't help but notice each time he 'bit' someone, it's always him fighting for position and getting close. When I fight for position against a defender, my mouth usually comes into contact with that person's shoulder/neck/face areas. I have normal teeth though, so I never got the issue Suarez had. Why will Suarez bite the Italian? It makes no sense. It was a accident and that's that. It's not as if a 'bite' make you 'score' more. It doesn't. Suarez biting on purpose makes no logical sense. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt again. If this happens a 4th time, I'm no longer a fan.
Superb!

You think that cant be photoshopped? Hahah

Im not defending the guy or anything, but no one can claim 100% that he bit him because guess what.....unless youve seen a camera angle the other billion people havnt, you have no evidence. Let the air clear, its definitly going to be solved one way or another.

But people claiming he 'definitly' did it mite aswell join up in a posse and march towards Rio with pitch forks and burning wood
So he pulled his shirt down so someone could photoshop bite marks on him? You are kidding.
