Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
Yeah I’d still fancy Colombia’s chances with 85 minutes left with 11 men.Definitely. Or even just left it and at least stayed on the pitch. Brainless decision.

Fair enough.Only when making an attempt to play the ball, like Jones vs Chelsea
Not for cheating like this. An honest attempt at the ball is different.I thought that pen and red is not rule anymore. Triple punishment thing.
Ok cheers.Only if it was an honest attempt at a tackle. That was pure cheating, so a red is valid.
9th in 15 games!8th penalty of the World Cup I think.
Mental.9th in 15 games!
If it's an honest attempt to play the ball then you don't get the red. A deliberate handball to prevent a ball headed for goal is still a red. I think.I thought that pen and red is not rule anymore. Triple punishment thing.
Times have changed. Colombia is a much safer country now than it was 20 years ago. The most dangerous countries in the world now are in Central America.Fear for Sanchez safety back in Colombia
U guys remember the own goal?
Because he's 32 and not very good anymore? How come Japan is not starting Honda? He's a quality player.
Drained battery? How come Japan is not starting Honda? He's a quality player.
Knew it would be intriguingWill probably be the most one sided game. Japan are on similar level to South Korea who were toothless today.
You mean like that?Have a suspicion that Colombia will try everything in their book to make it 10 v 10.
Maybe if Escobar was still aboutHave a suspicion that Colombia will try everything in their book to make it 10 v 10.
I saw him play like 2 months ago for Pachuca. He scored quite a few goals this season.Because he's 32 and not very good anymore?
I don't mind. Would rather have one too many than see defenders get away with handballs etc9th in 15 games!
I agree. There are not enough penalties given in everyday football compared to all the fouling going on.I don't mind. Would rather have one too many than see defenders get away with handballs etc
How many of those were VAR ?9th in 15 games!
Oh absolutely. Probably could've been about 3-4 more even and yet more 50/50 calls. If anything it shows how much refs held back from giving penalties before. Theres at least a legitimate penalty shout for one of the 2 teams in most games when you think about it. With VAR, more of them should get called now so we'll definitely see way more pens. And rightfully so.I don't mind. Would rather have one too many than see defenders get away with handballs etc
2 or 3 of them would def been given without Var as well. Now the refs just let the match continue and leave it to VAR unless they are 200% sure it's a penaltyHow many of those were VAR ?
France, Peru and Sweden were all ignored until VAR off the top of my head. Probably should've been used in the Argentina game and England game (twice). How many of those were VAR ?
Only the France one that I can remember off.How many of those were VAR ?
