What can Erik do here? Onana costs us 2 goals and we had chances for maybe 4-5 goals.

terrible result either way.

Onana single handedly kicked us out off CL.
Pellistri was criminally selfish when coming on, we should have scored 4th. Unforgivable miss aswell.

Overall absolutely nothing wrong with our manager today, we were set up brilliantly and we should have won comfortably. It's all on a couple of players this one.

But of course the clowning in this thread will be unreal, I expect 25 pages before the weekend.

I don’t ever want to see his feckin face again.
Why the feck did we need to ahip De Gea away for that Onana clown? That’s on ETH, and also the terrible subs.
Get him out now.
Feckin fraud!

Well look at that.
We play a team not from the premier league bottom 6 and we dont win again.

We played well but feck the manager, nice. Did you expect him to expect Onana to make 3 costly mistakes when he's not made any since Copenhagen penalty?
I mean, he signed him, he's worked with him before, surely he knows he's capable of doing this, or is it unprecedented?

Always one. How on earth can you blame the manager for this? Keeper made 2 mistakes! The players let a 2 goal lead slip twice
We're sitting bottom of our CL group. We were comfortable until he made his subs. Also, who signed that clown?

He's tactically inept when we have to hold any sort of lead. You cannot play like this away in the CL.
I could've told him before the game that telling Onana to drop two clangers wouldn't be a wise strategy.

We're last in a group with Copenhagen

Honestly, we're such a waste of a club when it comes to the CL. Liverpool would've at least made the most of it. The only use we served by qualifying was stopping another English club doing something of note.

Insane set up. Should have won the game of course, played lots of good football but the space he gives is suicidal at times.

Nobody in their right mind expected anything different tonight. Only thing left is the pummelling at home on final day to complete this embarrassment of a CL campaign.

And on top of that, we had many chances to put the game to rest. But some people are too blind for common sense.

Having only 1 win in this group after 5 games is an absolute joke. Especially as we have played the two weakest teams twice!

Players aren’t blameless but this is dreadful

Can you really blame his tactics when it was Onana who fluffed two goals?
He signed that clown. Alongside all the other cnuts that aren't working out. Had a record budget to spend and we are sitting bottom of the group yet some brain deads on here are still defending him

Set us up fecking perfectly too but we end up squandering easy through balls as if we are Chelsea v 9 men Spurs.
This entire CL campaign feels like self sabotage

Onana is a bozo - but you people are insane if you watch United playing like a basketball team and have the gall to come on here and write "we played well"

We are fragile as feck, no midfield - lucky this was against Gala - a serious team would have given us a pasting, like it has happened plenty of times under his watch.

Precisely this. Even with the Onana disaster, we have about 5 chances at the end where a player just needed to pass the ball about 5 yards for an open team mate to have an easy shot on goal.

This keeper played in CL final last year. Nobody in the world would expect him to be this awful.

Erik was fine here, we had more than enough chances to put this to bed long time ago.
That might be fine if Gala didn't have plenty of chances too. We probably had the better chances but that defensive performance was a shambles. Our midfield was being cut open time after time.

Nothing has changed since he lost to Spurs with Ajax. The bottling job continues. I just hope we will do well in the prem.

I am happy to blame when he deserves it, but this was not on him. Before anyone says Onana was his signing, countless managers before him have made bad keeper signings. Only one person to blame tonight, Onana.

The whole point of signing ex-players is that you know them very well and it is a 'safe' signing. The club has backed EtH and his signings of ex players have thus far been -

Amrabat - Shit
Onana - Shit
Antony - Shit
Martinez - Decent/good

This alone is a sackable offence - yes, the people further up should go and they will but how can you trust a manger who can't judge players that have played under him correctly?

Well we didn't for sure but he was no where near this busy at Inter, but Ten Hag has worked with him for years and knows him, so surely he knows what this guy does when his goal is peppered

His suicidal tactics tonight meant that we had absolutely zero midfield control.

It just continues to confirm the level we are at the moment, same as Galatasaray and Copenhagen.

Onana at fault for 2 goals- 2 howlers. We’ve scored 9 goals away in the champions league and come away with one point - unbelievable
