EU Referendum Results Thread | Leave have won, Cameron resigns

How did you vote to this: Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the EU or leave the EU?

  • Remain a member of the European Union

    Votes: 321 75.5%
  • Leave the European Union

    Votes: 80 18.8%
  • Spoiled ballot

    Votes: 24 5.6%

  • Total voters
    425
  • Poll closed .
13 results, and every single one has shown a swing towards leave. Marry that fact to low turnouts in London, and this one is over.

I'm going to bed. The UK won't last much longer and what's left is going to be economically fecked. I'd might as well get one final night's sleep as a citizen of a first world nation.

Drama queen.

Apparently brummies, could be 60% remain?

They had 700k votes

So if Leave wins does Britain become it's own continent or will it have to join another?

Could join the Falklands in South America.

No it will remain a part of Europe as that's our geographical location.

Just no longer a member of the Union of nations within Europe

Civil war!
That would be weird. Tracky bottom wearing chavs of the Leave facing off against hipster liberals of the remain.
Plus we'll all be dead in two hundred million years.
Most of us won't get past 2050. Why stress over it?
You are unbelievably optimistic, both politics and football.
No, just disetatched to the whole thing. Remain, leave makes no matter to me. We remain my life stays the same. We leave and it gets worse then I disappear to another country. There is just a bit more excitement this way.

Any idea when we are going to see results from some other large urban centre?
far as i can tell it seems to be down to income, the well off voting in, poor voting out, so rich areas of urban areas voting remain, poor voting out.

might change when we get into london though.

Vine's graphic is shit, as it doesn't highlight from looking at it whether votes were above or below the projected position on the graph.

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar declare: Remain: 8,232 (55.2%) & Leave: 6,671 (44.8%)

 Dear god. The pro-EU propaganda really has exceeded all expectations. It seems millions of people truly believe the United Kingdom is unable to function on the same playing field that every other developed country outside of the EU (from Japan to New Zealand to Switzerland) functions perfectly well on.
