Clearly Pirelli have fecked these hard tyres and the advice they've given to the teams, could have killed Max and Stroll with failures at that speed, not even a joke.

So you are saying he hasn't had luck on his side.. come on. No doubting his talent but he has had some huge moments of luck throughout his career.
Guess what? So has almost every single world champion ever.

Weirdly Russell pitted on the first lap and is still going fine

They all should have changed tyres. Hamilton obviously kept his tyre in better condition. Is that luck?
 It has absolutely nothing to do with tyre management.

Hamilton was pushing in Perez's dirty air since the restart, Max was lifting and coasting to the win.

Had the race gone to the end with no stop we'd have seen more failures.

and other drivers have not benefitted over the years, it is made out like Lewis is the only one that benefits.
Seb came out the best from the SC , he was nowhere near the podium, but now he is in 3rd, but yeah Lewis is lucky !

You mustn’t have been watching the season he lost to Rosberg.

This title race is still far from over. Red Bull seem to be getting stronger as the season goes on. Max will be back in the hunt soon enough .

Yeah obviously a huge feck up on their part. Stroll didn't even have much wear. Max is very good at managing tires too, his were definitely no worse than Perez or Hamilton. Red Bull now saying there was absolutely no indication the tires were in bad shape.

No worries
Assuming it's not a complete coincidence and both Lance and Max picked up a puncture on the same tyre in the same place, it's completely unacceptable for Pirelli to allow tyres which could fail at 200mph. Nothing either Stroll or Verstappen could do. Luckily both are OK.

F1 is high speed, tyres tend to blow at their highest load, tyres have been blowing for donkeys years for all manner of reasons.

Pirelli’s though so take the crown for most blowouts in history.

Feel bad for Max, did nothing wrong all race and was even cruising and barely pushing his car, yet gets a tyre failure.

This restart should be interesting, if Hamilton manages to take the win people are going to have a meltdown.

If Bottas has a few more races like this he should get replaced midseason, shocking race from him.

Stroll definitely had a lot of wear considering he hasn't pitted.

But yup, this is all on Pirelli. They told teams that the hard compound could last for 40 laps

Hard to say right now. I think the last two just favoured Red Bull. Also, isn't there going to be a rule change over the rear wings after this? For now, I think Mercedes will be favourites in most races this year.
