The team is just so important. Lando got his shot at McLaren and looks like a future superstar.

Poor George was even better in f2 and has been stranded at shitty Williams ever since. Every time he looks like achieving something the team or car lets him down... Including his race at Mercedes
Is Danny R driving the same car as Norris.
Lando making him look pretty slow.

I said it a few weeks ago. RB just look so dominant in all aspects this year. Car looks superior, strategy looks superior, driving lineup looks superior.

Lewis is still #1 for me, but Max is ridiculous and Perez is far better than Bottas

That's a fair comment. Though Lando's been in the same car for 3 years and Ric struggled his first year at Renault too after leaving Red Bull to chase the money

Worse gp of the year other than monaco. Cant believe we are back here again next weekend on the same bloody layout.

If your gonna do a double header at same venue at least have a different layout for the following weekend ala bahrain which was awesome. If it doesnt rain next weekend its gonna be another snooze fest. Just need the RB to be abit slower so we can get some close wheel to wheel action between lewis and max.

Interesting move to bring Perez in now. Shame they cocked up his first stop

In a way, why wouldn't you bring Hamilton in for a second stop? He would come out only behind Bottas who would let him through, it lets him get the fastest lap and would give him a chance to chase Verstappen down on new tyres.

Gap between 3rd and 4th is certainly closing. But it's a huge gap to close

Because if he pits Max will just pit too. Hamilton may as well pit on lap 69 if he wants to do fastest lap else Red Bull will just respond .

Red Bull were always going to be mega here, the hope is Merc can be closer moving forward and we get the battles we have been getting.

I think it’s because they don’t have any new tires left

Shows how boringly dominance Mercury have been- first year since 2014 they've gone 4 races without a win.

Why no rain?! Teasing us by hinting at rain yet the sun remains

True, Verstappen could respond. He would be close to Bottas though if he had a slow stop which Hamilton wouldn't have to worry about

Im so bored. Mercedes have turned down lewis engine. If they havent they should have done it after lap3.

What a turnaround this season. Both Red Bull are absolutely flying and despite Lewis Hamilton very best efforts, he can do little about it. Rain excluded.

If Merc and Hamilton hadn't had an absurd car advantage in previous years, Max would probably already be a world champion. But its starting to look like this really could be his year

That is fair. But remember what Russell did in his first race for Mercedes and in a car specific to Lewis Hamilton.

Honda have built an engine that is beating Merc week after week. Mad that they are pulling out at the end of the year and allowing Red Bull to stick a VW badge or something on it.

If Russell tried a stop like that on the last lap his nose would fall off

Huge congrats to Bottas for limping onto the podium because Red Bull fecked up Perez's pit stop.

Lewis will use that to stick Russell at Williams for another year :(

Good effort from Perez there, just needed a bit of time.

Max and Hamilton full pit stops ahead of their team mates on a track with 8 corners.
