I see Max is continuing to whinge about the incident. He's really quite dislikable.
Fixed it for you.Red Bull should be laughed at for wasting everybody's time
Like itFixed it for you.
Absolute joke. It was obvious from the start that this was a racing incident and 10 seconds was a harsh but fair penalty.https://www.racefans.net/2021/07/29...def5a43ca729a84f0bf0498436ed0#comment-4677830
I can't believe the resources they've reportedly put into trying to make a case, wasting testing time, simulator time and their drivers time in an effort to get an additional punishment for Lewis. Mercedes must be rubbing their hands with how this has got under their skin, seems like they've forgotten they're still ahead and the championship is only half over.
I would love them to all wear rainbow helmets, but the FIA are probably even less likely to allow that than UEFA. Vettel has come across really well in the last few years, coming from someone who didn’t really like him that much.Fair play. Vettel does seem quite a thoughtful guy.
What's he said?I see Max is continuing to whinge about the incident. He's really quite dislikable.
Most fair and correct post of the month.
What's he said?

That's pretty odd. It doesn't clarify what Albon's recreation of Lewis's lap is meant to prove though.Tweet

Haha! What rubbish. Max would've celebrated exactly the same way.Tweet

Sorry but Max tweeted after the race, he could've easily retracted it and said he overreacted in the heat of the moment, instead he doubles down with his bullshit response. This is media being twats again. Max seemed composed in that whole interview. He was directly asked that question. If I were am F1 driver, I would refuse to talk to Sky
probably that he'd never be able to make the apex and will naturally drift out onto the racing line. That's pretty odd. It doesn't clarify what Albon's recreation of Lewis's lap is meant to prove though.
Even if he was off the racing line to the extent RB were presumably arguing, that surely wouldn't alter the fact it was largely a racing incident, even if Lewis was deemed to bear the brunt of the blame.probably that he'd never be able to make the apex and will naturally drift out onto the racing line.
I posted a video on the previous page that was a 3d reconstruction that was the same sort of thing.
Essentially they're trying to say Hamilton would have never made the corner without crashing I suppose. clearly though they think that's a load of rubbish and don't want to open a can of worms.
Red Bull have really gone down in my opinion over this incident.
Even if he was off the racing line to the extent RB were presumably arguing, that surely wouldn't alter the fact it was largely a racing incident, even if Lewis was deemed to bear the brunt of the blame.
It still baffles me nearly two weeks on that some people are still convinced that amid the full pelt hard driving between the pair, Lewis was somehow able to pinpoint the exact angle and positioning of his wheel to hit Max and send him off while not damaging his own car.
Maybe on the Playstation on no damage mode.
The media didn't craft his "it's not how I was raised" response. He should have just moved on rather than continuing to whinge at the first opportunity to do so.This is media being twats again. Max seemed composed in that whole interview. He was directly asked that question. If I were am F1 driver, I would refuse to talk to Sky
I suppose it's been a reminder of the power of partisanship, if ever one were needed.
Lewis some sort of evil genius that can position his wheels (that he can' barely even see because of the Halo) to smash Max's wheel at the perfect time while driving at 180mph 1 metre away from a concrete wall.
Red bull and the Max fanboys really have lost the plot i'm afraid.
If Max wasn't so interested in squeezing Hamilton into the wall he could have stayed a lot wider and there wouldn't have been any contact. He's partially to blame as much as Hamilton is.
Anyway, roll on Hungary!
He needs to learn the difference between being in hospital and going to hospital for a check up. He is completely overplaying the fact that he had to be checked for injuries at a hospital. The fact that nothing major was found and he is able to race today shows just how much he is overplaying it.Tweet

Why you wasting your time with him? Many of us already have him I'm ignoreI will repeat what I asked before:
Tell me, if Red Bull is so superior, then why has Bottas outperformed Perez by every metric this season?
Which was a failing on the part of Mercedes PR team, to be fair. They should've updated Lewis ASAP.Add to the fact Hamilton had no idea he was even in hospital.
He was literally told he was fine and was being taken to hospital for precautionary checks.Add to the fact Hamilton had no idea he was even in hospital.
