What an awesome picture!
No disrespect to John O'Shea, obviously.Very rich
thisThey do remind me of the type of player that you would see at Barca
They'll be better footballers than them if all goes wellIt's like we've found Gary and Phil mk2.
I feel next season he will get more oppertunites with Neville out, but you're completely nuts when you imply Fabio beats O'Shea for utility. Put Fabio at centreback or in goal and he's doomed, and even allowing for mitigating the wing factor O'Shea can cover a greater depth of positions and his experience, positional awareness and discipline allows him to get ahead of Fabio in both fullback positions.Good display, again. Looks just as good a prospect as Rafael.
Anyone else think that Fabio's potentially a really fecking rich man's John O'Shea?
But he is a more offensive version of O'Shea obviously. He might be able to cover a few different areas of the pitch in a more advanced role - he should be comfortable on either flank both in midfield and defence and could occassionally fill in as a central midfielder.I feel next season he will get more oppertunites with Neville out, but you're completely nuts when you imply Fabio beats O'Shea for utility. When it comes down to it I'd rather play O'Shea on the wing than Fabio at centreback.
I don't think he is going to displace Evra in a year, I would say no way. He is going to settle for part time role for a bit longer but I have no doubt he will have a good career here if he is patient.Does anyone else think he's gotten stronger? He also seems much more level-headed than his insane brother, which is good.
I think he will displace Evra by early 2012, even though I am not sure of his best position. He is impressive wherever he plays.
