Look I think we're just tired as well. We played on Monday night. Didn't get back until 4am on a Tuesday. I'm not surprised we're playing like shite.

Also why can't we see more youth playing? That is probably the one thing I miss from the LVG days.
Both teams suffered rubbish management last season and ended on the same amount of points. New season, new managers. Spent roughly same mount of money as Pep, has had many more years experience in the Premier League, is behind Pep in the league...

I don't think it matters too much that Jose managed in the league before. A few managers came to England and had instant success. It doesn't always work like that anyway. Pep knew he was coming to City for a long while before last season so there shouldn't be much of excuse for him either.
Well we're talking about their performance as whole. All in all one could argue we've been extremely unlucky in the league. We've also won silverware this season which has to count for something. I'm not saying Pep is a shite coach, far from it, but if Jose went to Monaco and played with one recognised midfielder, defending a 2 goal lead - the caf would bloody crash - there would be threads started calling for him to be sacked. Jose hasn't been perfect by any stretch but IMO he has done better than Pep.
My point isn't to do with Conte, it's more about Jose being a hypocrite.
Mourinho claimed to play an attacking style as a shot at Conte. He's playing football and making subs that would run LVG for his money.

So far Pep has done as good as Jose in general if not better in EPL.
Of course experience in a league counts especially for someone like Jose who dominated and won loads in it before.

What I was saying that there were managers who came in and did brilliantly in the first season so I don't think we should pay too much attention to it whether it's his first season or not. Jose obviously knows the premier league better and he should be doing better in the premier league. I don't disagree with that.
