Bournemouth are an all or nothing team.
Liverpool aren't dropping points to them at Anfield. Don't bother getting your hopes up.

Tough game?! It's probably the easiest game they have left because Howe will play it right into their hands with his naive tactics. Fairly comfortable 4-0 incoming.Tough game for them today potentially as the only right back they have fit plays for the opposition, and Bournemouths best attacker plays on the left.
This is exactly what I see happening.Tough game?! It's probably the easiest game they have left because Howe will play it right into their hands with his naive tactics. Fairly comfortable 4-0 incoming.
Gomez and TAA not as vital to us as City's injuries? Those two players make up half of our defence that conceded hardly anything in the first half of the season. It's no wonder we look less secure without them on.Context is everything. City dropped points over the Christmas period whilst fighting on four fronts and operating with a depleted squad (their three best players were injured simultaneously). Liverpool, by accident or design (Klopp sycophants will say design as if it was a measure of his guile), were bombed out of both domestic cups so have a clear road ahead of them domestically now, all the while competing with practically their best XI each week (Gomez and Alexander-Arnold’s injuries are nowhere near as troublesome for them as the injuries City sustained).
Folk always believed City’s ‘blip’ (courtesy of two wondergoals for Leicester and Palace respectively) was an anomaly and that they’d bounce back when their injuries cleared up, which they have. They also have the distinction of being winners, a huge advantage in a title race, and their experience will have told them not to panic. Liverpool were ten points clear of City barely five weeks ago and that deficit has been blitzed in no time at all. Title run-ins generally ebb and flow but it’s not a good sign for Liverpool to be wobbling this early, particularly when you consider their performances have been dire. They were considerably lucky to get anything out of the Leicester and West Ham games last week. I would be acutely worried if I was a Liverpool fan.
It’s alright saying you’ll have players back from the sidelines but others will go off to the sidelines, especially as the season wears on and especially as your high octane game takes its tollGomez and TAA not as vital to us as City's injuries? What makes you think that we won't 'bounce back' when our injuries clear up? We had/still have the best record of any team so far this season so when we get our first team players back from injury why will we not improve?
After the match against City at the start of January, we were 4 points clear of them. Win today and we're 3 points clear. They will have improved by 1 point in the space of a month.
Im not acutely worried as a Liverpool fan. The performances over the last two games have been awful but we still gained a point from both and we're getting our players back from the sidelines. It's a great time to be a Liverpool fan. There's many things that I'm worries about. Being level on points with City with a game in hand isn't one of them
City have momentum and a near full squad, you do not. You saw first hand in 13/14 and again with Leicester in 15/16 what momentum can do. Less than a fortnight ago you had the opportunity to move 7 points clear, and now you're having to win just to stay above city. Your fans, the media and the club in general put so much pressure on the team to perform that cracks are starting to appear. Klopp is on page 4 of his list of excuses already.I don’t get this pressure narrative that’s flying around the place? Yes, Liverpool drew 2 games, big deal, they haven’t lost any all season, other than away at City, and win today, they’ll be 3 points clear at the top of the league after the same amount of games played.
If you remember several years ago, Refs had a pre-season meeting where they decided to be harsher on diving, that made me lose the little faith I had in refs doing a good job. This was when there was a big commotion about diving in the media, refs care more about looking good than applying the rules of the game. This is tinfoil-hat stuff really if someone claimed anything like that, but it turned out to be true. Scary thing so you never know exactly whats going on.
I wouldn't put too much stock in you losing less games than City.I don’t get this pressure narrative that’s flying around the place? Yes, Liverpool drew 2 games, big deal, they haven’t lost any all season, other than away at City, and win today, they’ll be 3 points clear at the top of the league after the same amount of games played.
City lost to a relegation threatened Newcastle 10 days ago after leading one nil, yet the narrative reads differently for them. They also lost 4 of the previous 9, after leading the league, and apparently being untouchable.
City have Chelsea tomorrow, and we could find ourselves 2 point clear tomorrow, with a game in hand, and where will the pressure conversation then lay?
Eddie Howe is probably getting a Klopp special in the board room right now.Sounds like VvD has finally recovered, as has Wijnaldum. Not before long, was starting to get some serious jitters. And the team have finally shaken off the useless warm weather training.

Context is everything.

Liverpool were 10 points clear of City in December. Spurs were in 2nd place though.Yes, as you say context is everything.
City, with a fully fit squad, with no players out of any note, lost to a relegation threatened Newcastle literally 10 days ago, having spent more money than any other team on the planet in the last 3 years compiling a world class squad. This is the same City that has now lost 4 games in the league this season.
This is the same City that pissed the league last season, and the same City that many touted as the best team in the world, and potentially the best title winning team we have ever seen, and the same City, some are still tipping for the quadruple.
They were expected to be the same, if not better this season. No team were expected to give them a run for their money this season. They were overriding and clear favourites for the title.
Liverpool, on the other hand, drew 2 games, without their first choice right back, centre back, and central midfield.
With all due respect, you can’t say that Gomez’s injury and Trents injuries are less troubling? We had / have the best defence in the league, notably down to these 2 players, and anyone can see that playing a 77 year old Milner at right back, and a 4th choice centre back in the unreliable, passive Martip would have an impact. Add to that Van Dirk playing will illness, having lost 4KG’s in a week, you have a real challenge.
Liverpool were never 10 points clear at any stage, so I’m not sure where that has come from? 7 points yes, with the next game up against City. Who then reduced it to 4. It could have been 10, but we lost away, which was our only loss of the season.
If bottling it, means having your best ever start, losing one game after 26 matches, with the best defence in the league, and actually being top of the league, then il take bottling all day long.
They're about to go on another warm weather training camp againSounds like VvD has finally recovered, as has Wijnaldum. Not before long, was starting to get some serious jitters. And the team have finally shaken off the useless warm weather training.
They've gone again haven't they? And the team have finally shaken off the useless warm weather training.
To Marbella this time. They've gone again haven't they?
This is misleading considering City had a game in hand at the time. The gap has never been any bigger than 7 points after an equal number of games had been played.Liverpool were 10 points clear of City in December. Spurs were in 2nd place though.
They're about to go on another warm weather training camp again
It's fecking freezing here at the minute, and rainy spells forecast too.To Marbella this time.

Wrong thread ?I just re-looked at that Chelsea-Spurs game. I had thought Clattenberg eventually sent a couple off but he didn't he?
That's amazing. That he can say what he does, he must be either batshit mental or really, really stupid.
Klopp: When we went to Marbella to train in warm weather, we were met with seasonally accurate temperatures, the expected average amount of rainfall and grey skies due to the prevailing Levante wind. In the hotel brochures it was not like this."oh dear,
