Leaked WhatsApp group of Bartomeu and his team. This paragraph is from the head of legal services on the day Messi's contract was leaked.
Bartomeu nods and says he agrees with many things.
"Barto, really, you can't be such a good person with this sewer rat. The club has given him everything and he has dedicated himself to dictating transfers, sales, renewals, patros (sponsors) just for himself, etc. I will never be able to do it but to the figures of his contract should be added Pinto, the renewal of Suarez, and Jordi Alba, or the renewal fee of Fati (Rodrigo Messi, agent?). But he can't even read and on top of that he had a drug trafficker as a partner). And above all, the accumulation of blackmail and rudeness that the club and those of us who work at the club have suffered from this hormone-ridden midget who owes Barça his life... ah! But when things go wrong (pandemic) you receive the mythical whatsapp: "presi, lower the salaries of the others, but don't touch me and Luis". I hope he leaves amidst the indifference of the people, which is the worst thing that can happen to him (one more pessimist)".
It's their fault for accepting these things, they are not the ones in charge. Cowardly leaders who have no courage to do the right thing.

But then it is confirmed that he was not willing to give up any money. There were people who called him an angel at the time, as well as his decision making on transfers and renewals, which he himself denied in several interviews.

I would put Eric García for Kounde, Kessie for Gavi and F. Torres, who has been suspended for 2 games for Dembélé.
Well, so much for our hopes. Close to no rotation tonight, Xavi takes a risk going forward. Let's hope that nobody will get injured.

Messi and the father were greedy rats. You only have to see the trial for fraud with the Spanish treasury or the company in Panama.
But a good president is not intimidated by such things.
Simply going out and giving explanations of what is happening was enough.
He should have said that Barcelona's offer is 30M net and that the club would not rise any more.
And if Messi had left, everything would already be very clear.

The season will be long without rotations.

Dembele looking very good. He makes it look so easy taking on people 1 on 1.

A good half, especially the first 30 minutes. They don't have an answer against Dembele and our midflied looks way more dynamic without Busquets. Kounde with one big mistake, otherwise a good performance overall. Hope for a fast 2-0 so we can rotate.

New game, same problems. We always lose control of the game in the 2nd half. And Torres can leave again. Even our defenders are more dangerous in front of the goal than him.

Sevilla really could go down this season.

Got a rare win last week but couldn't back it up and lost at Girona despite taking the lead.

Would surely be the biggest relegation anywhere for a long time considering they've been a consistent european qualifier over last 15 years and won many european trophies in that time.

Would be much bigger than Everton imo.

The fall of Sevilla is looking tragic. Really don’t want them to go down but they’re a mess of a side

In the last round FDJ was invisible against Athletico...and I mean Donny levels of invisibility!!! The game just past him by.

Interesting to see if he plays any better against Real.

Good start from Barcelona, but we know Barcelona's problem is not starting a game.

Valverde needs to be dropped for Rodrygo, he has been poor since the WC.

Sure, but his overall game has just been very poor. Maybe he is tired.

Both these teams look drunk.
Yeah it's a shame because he was easily your best player in the 1st part of the season.

Rudiger gets a knock from Courtois on his head and gets back to the pitch quickly.

Bad pass from Rudiger to Camavinga which Barcelona takes advantage of to score.

Deserved, Barca are much better.

Best Real can do is sit back and keep it tight, otherwise this will get ugly.

The Spanish super cup is in Saudi Arabia? A Domestic cup played in a foreign land. Have the Royal Spanish Football Federation lost the plot? I think so. Besides money what is their to gain from this? Nothing. It should be played in Spain. It's not a good way to promote Spanish football. It looks very poor from the Federation and weak.

This isn't the Barca I saw in the CL, what has happened to them. Inter and Bayern absolutely murdered them and here they are destroying Real.
