"Egyptian lawyer Bassem Wahba launched a €1bn (£873m) lawsuit against Ramos, amid fears Salah may be unable to represent his national side in the 2018 World Cup."

There are no words for that level of interbreeding...

whilst I'd prefer Ramos got a taste of his own medicine and someone put him out injured seeing him bankrupt as a result of his own thuggery would be funny, the man is an A+ shithouse

Does all of this news about the concussion mean that Liverpool plan to keep his as their number one next season?

If he is leaving, then why would they go to this much trouble to defend him? Unless they are doing it for Karius' sake, to get the media and fans off of his back so that he can continue with his career

Courtois on this issue

But Courtois said his own experience with a concussion suffered in October 2014 against Arsenal leads him to question how Karius could continue playing if he was concussed.

"It happened to me with Alexis Sanchez -- I had a concussion and I couldn't see the ball, so after 20 minutes I went out of the game because I couldn't see the ball," Courtois said.

"I feel sorry for what happened with him, but to blame it on concussion that he made those mistakes -- he also made two amazing saves. So that was luck then? I don't know because he couldn't see the ball.

"It's unfortunate for him to have made those mistakes but if you have concussion you will leave the game or the doctors will tell you, 'Look, you cannot see clearly anymore, you must leave the game.'

"If they want to say it's because of that, it's OK. He said after the game he made two mistakes, I think everyone will accept that. It can happen as a goalkeeper but to blame it on a concussion now, I find it strange. But if medics say that from Boston, it's OK."

Right now, I’d say he will be number one next season. I say that based on Klopp’s insistance on giving players opportunities. I think that Klopp had no intention of buying a new keeper pre-CL final (when Karius was decent) so with the passage of time he may thrust his prior judgement.
No doubt he’ll meet with Karius to see has he been scarred by this, if so then its curtains for him, but if not I have the feeling that he will persist.
We simply have too many other positions to cover and a better midfield 3 and a new CB may well reduce further the concession of shots on target (only 59 last season, 2nd best). Karius’ own record is 14 conceded in 19 games with 10 clean sheets!
As regards the whole concussion thing. If true, I’d have hoped that it would have been kept in house and not made the headlines it has. If there was a question of it then Liverpool were right to send him for expert consultations but keep it private please! After all, it was Karius, it was soccer and it was in the USA. It’s not like he was going to be identified going into visit such a specialist so I cannot understand who or why it went public.

This concussion thing is a pathetic excuse.

Just accept it and move on. Perhaps the club are putting this out as they don't intend to get a new keeper and are trying to win the fans back over?

the ''we win together, we lose together'' thing may not have been a put-up job, but they did all say exactly the same thing -

Apparently Steven Gerrard had an ingrown toenail cause of which he slipped and gave City the title. More to follow.
I was unaware of this. Maybe they should replay the game? Liverpool can still win the 2014 Premier League title!

Liverpool must be the most unlucky team in the world.

Whenever they lose there always seems to be at least 2 or 3 completely freak occurrences, that definitely never happen to any other team ever, that directly lead to the loss.

So unlucky.

Good! I love how these bitter Liverpool fans still talk about this incident and even go as far as dreaming about a hypothetical scenario where "Karius didn't have a concussion". Let them dream, There will never be "6 times". :keano:

Looking at all the interconnecting links between Liverpool, FSG, Massachusetts General Hospital, John Henry and Tom Werner.

After coming to the conclusion this move was mostly financial, with MGH receiving money from Boston Red Sox Foundation, AS explain the ‘doubt about the examination is still latent’, as Lorius Karius clearly never ‘commented to his medical team during the game’ about his impaired vision.

It was only days later that he ‘revealed the symptoms of a concussion, for which the doctors of Massachusetts determined that his performance was affected by the blow, but without a history of being evaluated during the confrontation’.
How does faking a medical examination to discredit a loss feel like the most Liverpool thing ever? Like it's so ridiculous and unprecedented and yet it feels like the natural thing they would do after shooting themselves in the dick the way they did in Kiev.

Maybe this is all done to protect him from all the death threats he and his girlfriend are getting. The release of the statement makes total sense from that perspective.

........ How pathetic, not your post but the death threats.

I assume they're from Liverpool fans. What happened to their whole YAWN, more than a club shtick they are always going on about?

First Ramos and now Karius. How did the scousers even get Ramos' and his family's phone numbers?

They apparently threatened Karius girlfriend too. They really are the worst fans. If this is going on, then I can see why the concussion medical report was put out there. I will give Karius the benefit of the doubt. If the YAWN fans won’t support him and threaten him, we all need to show him support as a fellow human being.

Probably Ramos' fault too, after all if he didn't elbow the shit goalkeeper Liverpool 'fans' wouldn't have to send him death threats.

Really wish sick fecks like those (the fans, not Karius) would get some heavy sentences for those threats, there's this feeling that those things are treated lightly for some reason.

Will they do a Suarez and wear Karius t-shirts at their first game next season? Do they have a petition for a replay already?

If this medical thing is a step in the direction of keeping Karius in goal then I am all for it. Hell I am happy to sign a petition too.

Any chance of him coming back strong and having a stormer of a season? Feel like I’d be tempting fate to gloat about this.

Fair's fair, he's one sexy mothafecka.

My wife actually kind of started 'supporting' Liverpool after his blunder, because she thinks he's hot and feels bad for him after the CL final.

Any divorce lawyers on the caf?

I doubt it. He didn’t have a bad game last season up until the final. Performances like that game weren’t a common occurrence.
